We discovered LBG via the Texas Bucket List show. I am an avid backyard vegetable gardener and was happy to see their farm to... table theme. Since then, we have made the journey several times for Sunday lunch/music over the last 18 months and really enjoygoing. The buffet is very good, but I am still waiting to see some success with their vegetable gardens. You can do it! LOL. They serve the best carrot cake I've ever eaten. Sunday lunch offers a variety of southern country cooking on the table. Reminds me of childhood in East Texas. Hour and half drive; it's an event that consumes our day. We try to arrive at noon anddefinitely stay until the live music stops. Well worth the money and effort to get away from our normal restaurants. Easy tomake a reservation a few days in advance; not necessary, but recommended, as it lets them plan for the event. Wish youcontinued success. Read more

Second time coming here when visiting my Mother that lives in the area. I live in Atlanta and do not venture to many rural areas... often. The first time in April, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent service. This time waseven better. Such a great atmosphere with the dining area decorations and the live music. So far from everything. But this isall you need and more. Will be back again. Read more

Our first time to LBG last Sunday. Arrived early for worship service then stayed for lunch. Both were absolutely amazing and we... will definitely going more often. Our drive took over an hour but we'll worth the time. Read more

This place was exceptional! If I could eat here every weekend I totally would! Sadly, I don?t live in the area. The interior was... unlike anything I?ve ever seen. Lots of different levels, different designs and decor, and very eclectic: almost Hogwartsfeeling in a roundabout way. Then throw in some live music with a bluegrass band and I felt like I was at Silver Dollar City. Itwas an almost surreal experience! Upon entering for the Sunday lunch, you find your name at your table. You then can grab yourown pitcher of tea for the table or even make your own coffee. Then when those doors open for the buffet you better watch out! It?s like a heard of cattle running! There are all kinds of delicious things on it. And for the most part, it?s all farm totable. The dressings were divine, as were the potatoes, deviled eggs, brisket, stuffing, cheesecake, just everything! Just go! Read more

We have visited the farm several times and we absolutely LOVE it! Our favorite cabin is ?Grandaddy?s Place? although all the... cabins we have stayed in have been very charming and clean. The pool and the property is great. Go check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Read more

I really enjoyed my Sunday brunch. Service was thoughtful and quick even though we didn't have a reservation. The buffet was... like eating at grandma's after church. Today was roasted chicken and brisket. All the sides are homemade and seasoned well.Fresh produce, great fruit. I really am looking forward to another trip. Read more

Oh, my word. What a cool place! Halfway between Tyler & Houston, it's a perfect meeting place. The food was fantastic and the... ambiance was, too. It would be particularly great for a wedding, shower or family gathering. Highly recommend thisoff-the-beaten-path place. Read more
