Sitting chicken, I figured that out when I noticed how gross it was. The person that took my order was clearly mental deficit. I... should have know better. I tried a few pieces and threw it away. Food is overpriced and the taste is not the same! OVER $30 for 2 strip combos? REALLY! My chicken was fully cooked either!... Service was horrible, it seems like they didn't want to work! Horrible. Spent $36 on chicken asked for 6 sauces was told only get 4, not a problem I?ll buy the other 2. Was told they don?t... sell sauce. I could only have 4. Got a refund, drove to Portland. More chicken for $10 bucks less with all the sauce I wantedFREE. I understand times are tough but a customer should be able to purchase sauce if they want additional. Manager was useless. Read more
This place needs to close up and make way for a franchise that what?s to do business. When they open, you can?t get product... because they have to change the oil and clean the fryer. I guess that they never thought of sending in staff to prepare foropening. This has been an ongoing issue, not pandemic related. Second, I?m here now prior to their closing. They?re closed. Read more
How is this place still in business? Always closed WAY earlier then the hours posted. And they ALWAYS make sure they have a... full rack of food to take home. But none to sell to customers during normal business hours? Been like this for the past yearI?ve been coming to Maine. Don?t think I?ve ever managed to get food here. Popeyes has great food, there's no doubt about that. If you are looking for some crunchy, delicious, breaded chicken, or shrimp... then look no further. HOWEVER, their rating suffers one star for the unfriendly staff. I have been to 3 different locations inmy lifetime, and I can't honestly say I have ever witnessed a more unhappy group of workers. Hey, I understand...I worked for acouple different fast food establishments in my life and they were in no way at the top of my list as most loved jobs...but ashard as this world is for everyone in it right now, even a little smile, thank you, and have a nice day really does go a longway. Meals don't include drinks. Drinks are extra. "Meal" before the drink was $13. This highway robbery is getting worse every year.... They also didn't carry easily the most popular item Popeye's has to offer. The chicken sandwich. At least they were open at5:30 pm. Read more
