Reviews for Latitudes At Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport, ME

We swapped out a reservation at Scales in Portland for something closer and we were incredibly disappointed. I don't think I've... ever left a bad review before but the photos vs the reality were a stark difference. The price points on menu items were thesame as scales or any other restaurant we ate at but nearly every dish used previously frozen ingredients even the strawberryshortcake used frozen strawberries....(it's summer fresh strawberries are easy to come by). The gnocchi said handmade and at$40/plate I believed them but it was nothing like the fresh handmade melt in your mouth gnocchi from Chez Rosa or 50 local, itwas tough like it was probably hand made then thrown in the freezer. My kiddo not seeing the waitress mentioned to the tablehow hard his chocolate cake was and the waitress without missing a beat said "oh its because it was frozen". The appetizerswere messy and frozen corn and canned beans is not what any of us expected when paying $500 for a meal. I gave a star forconvenient parking which is hard to come by in Kennebunk. We had a family wedding there on Sept 24th. Beautiful venue. Our food was in my opinion great. We had filet with asparagus and... mashed potatoes. My Aunt paid for open bar. The problem lies with the male bartender who was serving us. He repeatedly yelled atguests. He threatened my wife and I that if we drank our rocks vodka “like a shot” he would cut off all mixed alcohol forthe whole wedding party. For the amount of money spent no guest should be threatened and told how to drink a drink. Needless tosay I didn’t have another drink because of fear of him yelling at us again. This was a adult wedding not some Frat Housechildren’s wedding. We won’t be going back there anytime soon or have any family weddings there again. Read more

Loved the individual cabanas. Food was good. It was odd how to get out to our table, through the pool area or around the lawn,... but that was fine. It is definitely a resort restaurant with another activity close by, microphone included and livemusic..which was very cruise ship sounding. Overall we got what we came for which was a beautiful view of the water and boatsand an incredible lobster risotto. Read more

Excellent in every way. Creative menu, delicious food, outstanding service, fantastic views. We dined at 95 Ocean and Latitudes,... which is more casual but equally good. Highly recommend no but either way, bring your wallet - very pricey but worth the splurgeat least once if you’re visiting the area. Read more

We had an elegant dinner recently outside in a private Cabana. The setting was amazing! We were overlooking the river watching... the boats going to & from the ocean. It was a beautiful night, perfect in every way. The food that was served so graciously wasdelicious! Thank you for a truly memorable evening! We look forward to returning soon. Read more
