Service was terrible. Took nearly an hour to receive salads. The salad was embarrassing to serve at a restaurant that is... supposedly high caliber- or really any place outside of a college dorm. It was a (barely) glorified handful of iceberg lettucewith a few chickpeas and croutons. Servers were unapologetic and ill equipped to handle the situation. In fact, our server justdisappeared for an hour and failed to even check in on us or proactively apologize for the horrendous service. Another staffmember did not even make it to the table to refill water glasses when asked. After we had waited an hour for food (with youngchildren) and asked politely for some bread, no one could even deliver that. It took a second person asking 20 minutes later forsome bread to arrive. Entrees were decent but overpriced. My scallops were cooked perfectly but the dish was drenched in abuerre blanc sauce that essentially felt like it was just drenched in butter; this unfortunately overshadowed the seasonalveggies. A great local option for take out. We order from Musette almost on a weekly basis. Our favorites are the burgers, the fish... sandwich and for entrees the Salmon or Short Ribs and all the desserts! We’ve had many delicious meals here over the years. They package up the meals very well. Sometimes, there is even a little extra treat in the bag, which we love to discover. I went for take out last night at the last minute and was so glad they were open! I ordered the Musette burger and Musette... salad and they were excellent! The burger was huge and cooked perfectly, fries hot and tasty, and the salad was super fresh andwell prepared. On top of that was a surprise brownie to wash it down... so good! Such a cute little diner. The decor is absolutely charming, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. If we hadn’t been... in such a rush I would have taken more photos. My avocado toast was beautiful and delicious... you’ll just have to take myword for it. The pancakes, eggs benedict, and has we also delicious. I’d love to go back on our next trip and try it again.
