Y'all let me tell ya this place is under the radar but it is top shelf food! Their take on Viet-Cajun fusion is amazing.... Everything has so much flavor. The char-broiled oysters are perfect. The seafood gumbo was perfect and authentic. The star ofthe show was the spiced boiled shrimp tossed in the Viet-Cajun sauce is something that needs to be experienced before you die.Kong our bartender/server explained the family/community history of the establishment. Overall good food. Came in on a late flight and was one of the only things around open. Would highly recommend NOLA Style BBQ... Shrimp - it was delicious and just the right amount of spice. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is my bread was hard as arock. Would have been nice to have to soak up the sauce so that was greatly disappointing. Read more
The food was good. The prices were high. The boil was boiled a little too long. The crab was too soft, the corn was mushy, and... the new potatoes weren't cooked all the way though. The crab portion for a pound had a lot of meat to it however. So that was apleasant plus. I got the Dungeness crab and it was amazing. I would dine here again, but expect to bring a lil money if youwant to enjoy it fully. I'd say $50 per person for an entree', drink, and maybe an appetizer. Great evening at Big EZ. The place was packed with the Final Four in town but grabbed a seat at the bar. Cong, the bartender... informed me it would be about 1 hour before the food was ready due to the amount of take out orders and people inside, butpromptly served me an ice cold beer in a frosted glass. Ordered 2lbs of crawfish, the garlic fries (amazing) and the gumbo(must have been 1lb of shrimp in there). All the food was fantastic and Cong was super friendly. Apologized for the wait andalways made sure my glass was full. Definitely recommend. Read more
Enjoyed the food here. Very clean, friendly, and fast service. Not a far away from Louis Armstrong Airport, great place to stop... in before heading to airport or great place to stop by when arriving. One individual in our party asked to get their Ultradressed and the bartender put hot sauce in the beer instead of salt and lemon. Lost in translation coming from Texas to thebayou, Too funny. I'm from New Orleans and saw this seafood restaurant near the airport. This was very good lunch and the walls are painted with... incredible murals I just felt like while I'm back in New Orleans here. I had the lunch special shrimp po boy with cup of gumboexcellent. I had the Cane break IPA beer also enjoyed that. Prices are reasonable , a good value. I'm definitely coming back, alot to try other dishes. Read more
Ordered some wings & a 30lb individual crawfish bag. Incredibly delicious, the place is clean, I can definitely it?s very local... & liked. Every room has beautiful art related to New Orleans. The waiter, I forgot his name sadly, was really nice, he offeredrefills, gloves and was overall pretty cool. Read more
We got there about 30 minutes or so before closing and the service seemed very rushed. They could've been a bit friendlier, but... also a bit understandable being we were there shortly before closing. Our family tried the hot sausage po boy, catfish po boy,kids grilled cheese and fries, and the bourbon boil (I believe that was the name). It was all good. The boil was wonderful. Thedungeoness crab, sausage, and eggs were some of our favorites from the boil. The spiciness and flavor were great The bourbonmeal was over $130, but not listed as it's based on market price of the items in it. The restaurant is full of beautiful paintedmurals. Read more
