First NOLA seafood experience and it did not fail! We started with fried alligator, I was nervous but it was delicious! I'd say... it tasted shrimp and chicken-ish..my husband had the fried catfish and oyster combo and I had the crab cake pasta special. Thecrab cake was ok, more bready than meaty but the flavor was good. The catfish was excellent! Oh cant forget the hurricanes,yummy and refreshing! Megan our waitress was very nice and accommodating. In town for a bike event during essence and heard this place was great. Was told it was a 10 to 15 min wait but it was longer... and someone that came in after me was seated before me. Then once in and ordered, it was 45 mins to get my food. I had charbroiled oysters and they were delicious. I would go back if the wait times were better. Read more
Thank you so much for a wonderful lunch! The hush puppies are very good and the waitress suggested the fried stuffed soft shell... crab. She was right! I even got the sweet tea to go it was so good. Near the airport for a quick stop if you are coming in orgoing out. I will be back. Read more
Food was delicious. Alligator is hard to do right, & they do it right. The tuna kabobs were great as well as the Harbour Special... with a special sauce. Yum yum!! I can't believe it, the seafood here is definitely the best seafood I've ever had in America! Not only is it fresh, affordable,... but more importantly, it's delicious! Everyone recommended that I eat here as soon as I got off the plane, and it turns out theywere all right. I can't believe we only spent 50 bucks on this! The first order was a 6-in dressed oyster poorboy and potato salad. The second order was a half and half which consisted of 2... small pieces of fish, 4 pieces of shrimp, 4 small hush puppies and a side of potato salad.
