My wife and I had dinner here on a Saturday evening. The place was packed with customers. But we were seated quickly and greeted... by our server almost immediately. The service would remain attentive and efficient through our entire stay. This restaurant iselegant and inviting. The walls were laquered wood and nice artwork. The carpet is a rich, darker hue. The tables were spacious,with comfortable chairs. I ordered the sirloin steak with musroom sauce, and my wife ordered the Thai Ribs. Both were greatdishes;tender moist meat and well seasoned. We had a nice server and it wasn't that busy at the time we went. The food wasn't bad, however, I'm giving it 4 stars due to... the ribs and my salmon being just lukewarm. My daughter had shrimp and fries which came out nice and hot. I probably would goback and just try something different. Read more
Kaylie gave us fantastic service and was very attentive and personable! The Thai ribs were very delicious and the red beans and... rice and grits were on point. Upon arrival, there were quite a few people waiting to be seated. Still, it only took 10 minutes to be seated. My server was... prompt and super inviting. His name was David and as he exclaimed, there are three David's at this location so he goes by Da'vidand he's from kenna-bruh (lol) Well, I ordered the sweet chili glazed rotisserie chicken. The description sounds like it's justtoo much going on but I enjoyed it. It came out looking n smelling good. It was also piping hot . My husband had rotisseriesteak. I enjoyed my meal! The fries were cooked to a perfect crisp. Two critiques: the greens had a lot of water which wasn?t... appreciated. Also, while the chicken was coasted with sweet chili sauce, once the top layer was eaten the remaining chicken wasbland. They chicken itself should be seasoned and cooked and then the sauce on top. Went at a time when there wasn't rum to make the drink I wanted. The bartender was able to use a different type to make the... drink. Came out great. Duck empanadas were great as always. I hadn't visited Zea in years but glad I stopped in today. I had the Duck Empanadas and they were amazing ????. They were hot... and flaky, filled with tasty duck and melted cheese and served with Zydeco sauce for dipping. The Chicken Quesadillas werefilled with a tasty rotisserie chicken and they were also great. The Shrimp Breaux Bridge was good but could have used a bitmore seasoning. Had dinner for 4. Waitress asked if we wanted anything else because they were closing shortly. We ordered a burger to go. When... we got home the burger was raw, bleeding and not even brown (seared). It was disgusting. Wished she would have said the kitchenwas closed instead of selling us an uncooked meal. Very dissatisfied and will think twice about going back. Read more
