Simply Amazing service! We came in on Friday afternoon casually and unplanned, after a day of lounging and getting pedicures.... Typically we always book thru Opentable, but again, this visit wasnt planned. There was an hour wait for a table, so we optedfor the bar and it was the BEST experience to date! We dine at this Ruth Chris often, but we have never had better service thanwith Zach at the bar! His drinks are amazing, he was very knowledgeable of the menu, and he attended to us well, even though thebar got kind of busy after we were seated. He never made us feel as if we had to wait for service. It was just a phenomenalexperience all around, and mannnn does he make a good Smokey Paloma drink! ????We'll certainly be back and will sit in the bararea again if Zach is working, because it was such a pleasant dining experience! Loved the place. I would give them more stars if I could. The service was top notch. They made my anniversary so special. We... weren't rushed like every single restaurant I've ever been too. The food was so good. I wasn't really impressed with the stuffedmushrooms.But the steak made up for it 100x over. I can't wait to come back. My only complaint is that they don't wipe down theplates before bringing them to you so the steak plates look messy. They are so on the ball with everything else being sopristine. Me and my boyfriend made reservations here for Valentine’s day and let me just say, this place was fantastic! Our servers were... so sweet and kind, and they definitely served us the best food i’ve ever eaten in awhile. Worst Meal & Service, EVER!! My husband went to Ruth Chris today, because he had a $100 gift card for his birthday. We had... gone over their menu in advance to pick out what we wanted, because we still do not eat inside restaurants due to covid. Myhusband arrived exactly at 4pm when they opened, so he could be the first one there. No other customers were there or present.My husband placed his order, which included lamb chops. They asked him for payment in advance, which he complied with. After hepaid, someone then came out and stated, “They did not have lamb.” The manager came out and allowed my husband to get theribeye for the same price. Our total order was around $165. First mistake, they brought out the food order and when my husbandchecked the little-tiny bag that cost $165, they had left out the salad and dressing. Also the salad dressing had zero taste.Second, $26 for two tiny round golf-ball sized crab cakes. Are you kidding me? Third, the mushroom container was so little andgreasy, OMG!!! I didn’t even eat the mushrooms because I thought I could have a stroke. Fourth, the potatoes looked likegreasy cheesy breakfast potatoes that didn’t even fill up ¼ of the container. Fifth, ALL of the containers were ¼ to ½full, after spending all that money. Insane!!! I’ll continue. Okay, so for an overpriced dive that specializes in steaks, howdisappointing. The ribeye was so tough that my husband could not cut it with a very sharp steak knife. The steak had zeroflavor, and it was full of fat, gristle, and grease in the pan. We could have gone to Stoney River, Whole Foods, or even TexasRoadhouse to get a bigger, better, and tastier steak. This was my first restaurant I visited in 2022. The staff was very professional and provided swift service. We had to sit at... the bar due to the dining area being completely booked. No worries. I ordered the crab cakes as my appetizer. Ruth's Chrisprobably has the best crab cakes hand downs. They sit them in a butter sauce and its soo delicious. Next, I had a Ribeye(×2), lobster mac and cheese, and the cream spinach. It literally was enough food to feed 4 ppl. Its a bit on the pricey sidebut they make up for it with the large portions. I had a very nice first experience at Ruth Chris. We went 30 minutes before closing. We were seated right away and our waiter... was very polite. Since it was our first time there the manager came and gave us a sample of steak and potato (which was verynice even though we didn’t order steak). The shrimp and grits was very delicious.
