Plenty of parking in the back, roomy outdor seating, plus indoor seating AND amazing barbecue! I had the brisket plate, which... came with two good sized slices of meat (perfect fattiness!), Texas toast, and two sides. I chose the potato salad and bakedbeans. Both were phenomenal!! My server, Anna, recommended the "Slay the Psychonut" stout, which I loved. I'm visiting the areafor awhile, and will definitely be back! Read more
AMAZING. This is a gem in the rough. I can not rave enough about this restaurant. A quick meet up with old friends turned into a... golden memory. The outside pergola with the cool breeze was perfect. My Brisket tasted mouth watering and memorable. Servicefrom MaKala was very exceptional. We felt she went above and beyond to make our out of town local stop a hit. Thank you Alex onthe info of the 1880 architecture. It is amazing to see the retrofits. I loved the suggested Mexican style Amber beer I had.It's Carmel back taste and smooth finish set the tone for the good times we had. Thank you thank you thank you. The brisket was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Mac n cheese was delicious, fries were amazing and generous, their house sauces were the... absolute bomb. Let this photo emphasize how much I enjoyed and how quickly I plan to come back for more. Will Green rocks! Read more
A great assortment of BBQ meats, in plates, sandwiches, nachos, etc forms. We really enjoyed the BBQ pork when we were there,... and the sides (commonly served a la carte) tasted fresh made. A little pricier than some other BBQ places in the area afterfactoring in adding sides to dishes, but all in all Nest is in my family's top 3 BBQ places to visit. Would have liked to trythe smoked chicken wings, but couldn't convince myself to spend $23 for 10 wings. Not disappointed with what I selected, We willdefinitely be back. Saw these guys at the Beer Festival as they were packing up, I was purchasing a few bones and it was then end of the day so not... only did they give me a couple extra, it was NO CHARGE! I love free food! But what's better is GOOD free food! Let me tell youthe flavor was on point! The meat was tender, juicy and fell off the bones! It was so good no sauce was needed! We stopped here on our way out of town from Georgia. What first caught our eye was the vast list of sour beers (we’re huge... fans) and had to order a flight. The food is incredible, an interestingly unique take on BBQ. From the traditional BBQ sandwichto a unique brisket taco, they are sure to have something for every carnivore to enjoy. If you are local to this area, or justpassing through, you’ve gotta give this place a shot. Read more
The Nest in Kennesaw! This is 'where the locals go', so that's really all you need to know. They perfected small plates and... dinner plates. The huge smoker out front is a sign that the brisket was cooked to perfection. Lots of choices of craft beer.Splurge and try something new. Definitely will be back! Read more
My friend and I went on a big hike and we're starving. Fond this hidden gem and will absolutely be back. Tayler was our server... and she is 100% the bee's knees. From the inviting smile and the promptness everything she also saved us by performing themost superior roundhouse kick to a yellow jacket???? that was trying to attack my friend. (She's very much allergic tothem????) The food was great. The egg rolls are a mush have and the half chicken is finger lickin good. Also don't sellyourself short and not get a banana pudding. You will go home crying if you don't. ( I forgot to take I picture of the pudding. I smacked the whole thing before I even thought about it????)
