Desserts are delicious - cupcakes were super moist and fresh!! Also tried the strawberry cheesecake croissant along with... chocolate one. Both were fantastic. The owner is a dear friend and so sweet with much attention to the details!! We had lunchand our paninis were so good!!! Toasted to perfection, too!! Had lunch here and the Reuben was delicious. Will be back for pastry as they all looked wonderful.
First time my hubby went there he got a chicken salad and said it was awesome. For 12$. Went back yesterday and the lettuce was... soggy and wilted and the chicken was shredded not a filet and was charged 15$ he asked a really big woman about it and she saidhe was charged extra for the chicken. He said it says 12$ for chicken salad. Not 3$ if you want chicken. She said somethingsmart and he walked out. Will not be going back there. Read more
I LOVE going here. The food and service is EXCELLENT! And since they've moved to the Kennett Square, it's much more like a... coool cafe atmosphere! I only wish they'd play more relaxing jazz style music/cafe music. Also, the employees can be prettyloud when talking with customers they know. I really wanted it to be a place I could just relax and read etc... with a cup ofcoffee and a sandwich or pastry or whatever. Hard to do when the chatter between customers and employees is so loud.
