TLDR: Good food, large restaurant, pan-Asian offerings. We (party of 3) arrived at around 12:30pm on a Sunday. The entrance... consists of a few metal steps, which may cause slippery conditions on rainy days (like ours). We walked in and were shortlygreeted by the hostess. The front dining room that we initially entered was empty, but the hostess led us around and to the backwhere we realized the space was much more expansive than we thought. The few scattered tables present were mostly filled. Wewere seated and brought menus and water (hot, upon request). Though the restaurant is marked as Japanese on Google Maps, themenu revealed a choice of options ranging from Thai to Chinese. They also had a few daily specials, one of which was a 6 countoyster for 13 dollars appetizer. The service was a little slow, and the time it took from us placing our orders to gettingserved by the cat robot was around 15-20 minutes; we were trying to make a reservation at the nearby Longwood Gardens so thiswas an inconvenience. We decided on the 6ct Oysters, Drunkard?s Rice Noodles, Pad Thai w/ Chicken, and the Thai Massaman Curryw/ Chicken. The oysters were served in a somewhat Japanese style with soy sauce and some sour tangy sauce, along with a cup ofmarinara in the middle. The oysters were fresh and tasted pretty good, though I?d never had it made in that way before and was alittle confused at the flavors of soy sauce and raw oyster combined. The entrees were pretty good. The curry was pretty spicyand came with a bowl of rice. The flavors were warm, rich, and deep, just what one expects. The pad thai was a little on the wetside (it?s supposed to be a dry cook) and lacked much color; it all came out to look monotone beige. The flavors were good andthe chicken was a little hit or miss (i.e. some pieces were dry, others tender). The drunkard?s noodles (no they did not tasteof alcohol) were probably my favorite. They were moist, flavorful, and delicious, and there was no sk Read more

I liked this restaurant quite a bit. They had a wide selection of Asian cuisines but their sushi is what my group went for. The... atmosphere is comfortable and nicely themed. The cat robot that brings food is so cute and makes for a very special experience! We were all eager to watch it make it's next trip. Read more

This food was so great! We had crab rangoon, made in house with sweet chili sauce, miso soup, also made in house and not just... from a little freeze dried packet, and hot tea to start - they use genma chai I think cause it tasted like roasted rice. Thensampled the tuna, salmon, cucumber, and tempura sweet potato sushi...all fresh and really tasty! The wasabi was mixed prettyspicy today! The green thai curry was fresh, not over-spiced (and not hot spicy) and the edamame was garlicky and great. Its areally big space inside and modern decor. They even have a sushi robot cat that brings you food! Read more

First time being here at the new GuGu Asian restaurant. People who don?t know Lily Shushi and GuGu share the same ownership. I... tried Thai ice tea, Red Thai curry chicken bento box, and GuGu Lobster roll. Very flavourful and fresh. Although they have a bitdifferent menu than Lilly shushi does, the taste is as good as Lilly?s Shushi. Amazing experience. Restaurant staff is amazingand friendly. Definitely recommend for any occasion or event and anytime diner. Read more

After seeing this place under construction for a while we saw that it was open and had to try it! The online ordering website... was so easy and it let us use Apple Pay which is always a nice touch. Food was INCREDIBLE. Bento box portions were gigantic andreasonably priced. We will be back to dine in as well. Would highly recommend this place. Read more

My wife, youngest son and I had dinner and the food was excellent. My 10 year old son had the dumplings and said they were... fantastic. I believe they were stuffed with crab meat. My wife and I split the lettuce wraps, bang bang shrimp and the FireDragon Roll. The bang bang shrimp included 4 large shrimp with a side dipping sauce. I like that because I can control how muchsauce is added to my food. They were crispy and tasty. The Fire Dragon roll was very good too. It included tuna, salmon andshrimp. Finally, the lettuce wraps were unbelievable. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Additionally, I really like how theydecorated inside and did the walls. The place looks great. I will be back.
