I wanted to check this place out because I love the idea of a restaurant with a playground for kids and beer for parental... units. The fenced playground was situated near the busy street, so it was quite noisy and dirty. My toddlers hands were GNARLYafter playing on the equipment. The water ran grey as we washed them. The equipment was better suited to kids older thanmine. The staff was super cool- really nice and friendly. The pizza was standard. I might try the salad bar next time. We were looking for the boot repair place which wasn't open for a few minutes and noticed Hubby's Pizza was directly across the... street. Lucky coincidence for us as it was lunch time and we were both hungry. When we walked through the entrance, thefantastic aromas had the desired effect (intentional? Absolutely!)! It wasn't super busy yet so we looked at a menu and settledon a medium. Best discovery we've encountered this year or last year! This is my idea of what a great pizza place should be! Pizza was good. Kids liked the games. But I am pretty sure while I was ordering, the girl was on a personal call. She had a mask... on and ear buds. Really Happy to have been introduced to this place. Quiet for Lunch during the week so far. I understand that evenings and... weekends it can be Full with kids team lunches. Reminds me of the older shakers pizza places across the country. Family run,great pizza, Watch it being made, Long Bench seating, Great potato and pasta salad, nice salad bar, simple but fresh. It always brings back memories going to hubby's as a child, although a few things have changed for starters the video games a... couple where out of order and one without a sign on it so i kept putting money in it thinking i was doing something wrong, untila little girl helped me. They did have 2 race car games that were really cool, but i didn't see them till later. I think if iwere them, i would make a few changes with the games, like out with the old in with the new type thing. The pizza was good, verybut greasy, at least the pepperoni was.
