Well, I need to stop thinking there's any good Mexican food outside southern California. I'm not sure where on the pig the meat... in the pozole came from, looks like maybe the spine. Twice as much bone and cartilage versus the actual edible pork. LOTS ofhominy. Broth is bland, no spice at all. The shrimp cocktail came hot. That's new for me. Haven't tried it yet. We ate during a slower time of the day, but it still took quite a while to get our orders in and drinks poured. The chips are... pretty generic but the salsa is just addictive. The portions aren't too much or too little, although the kids meals lookedmicrowaved. Family resturant all the way, I arrive early , usually only myself, I feel as though I might as well be stopping by a friends... for lunch. Quick, good, cold beer, they always smile. Even though it is a sit down resturant, they still serve fast street styletacos. Carna asada, onion, cilantro, and a lime wedge on a corn tortilla. Simple. I take two, plus one dark Mexican beer.
