Excellent experience, with quality customer service. We dined in and had a great server that was very attentive to our drinks... and to bringing out meals in a timely fashion. Authentic Italian appetizers, homemade soups and main entrees with and a greatmenu selection of different things to choose from. You can make reservations or just walk in like we did. This is one of my rare 5 star reviews and it's all because of the exceptional staff. The food was great but the staff service... was the extra star. Street parking and there is a ramp into the side door for for accessibility. Washrooms are big enough andclean. Side note: I had foolishly had a wee bit too much to drink earlier in the day, not realizing that supper with friends wasactually a surprise party. Coffee and water restored me to sociable. We had a large group of 17 and service of drinks (andcoffee) was quick and continued as such through the meal. The main courses were served quickly and nobody was left waiting fortheir meal. My pasta with seafood was delicious with lots of shrimp to enjoy. We had brought along a birthday cake which wasbrought out with lots of candles to blow out, (more than I care to admit). Everything we ordered was excellent. The star was the Pescatore. Seriously order it! Some had greek salad, some had ceaser, both... were great but one had their cream of cauliflower soup with dill and it was rich and creamy. Highly recommended. Read more
Surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much but was very happy with the meal. Looks like the dining room has had a recent... refresh. The menu is good, lots of options but not so many that you wonder how they keep that sort of variety in thepantry. Had bruschetta as an appetizer. The toast could have been crunchier but I guess that is a personal preference sort ofthing. On a whole I was very pleased. My wife had a caprisi salad, the plate was cold so it was obvious they had premade itand stored it in the fridge. She feels buffalo mozzarella tastes better warm. I feel tomatoes taste better cold. We agreedthat the balsamic reduction was delicious. Butter on the bread instead of olive oil, but I'm going to blame that one on thepreferences of the clientele. My main was the gnocchi and it was fantastic. Well cooked, tasty and very filling. Goodportion sizes. The rest of the table were also very happy with their entrees. My wife and I shared a lemon gelato for dessertand it tastes like a lemon meringue pie. Portion sizes are large (I left 5 lbs heavier than I arrived) and quality is high. Myonly real complaint was that I asked for an americano to go with dessert and what I got was quite bland and watery. Read more
