Unfortunately can't give more stars, for place where they can't even make right, grilled cheese sandwich. After sending back the... first sandwich, got second one - this time with WHOLE two pieces of cheese. My friend ordered sweet beets salad, and was a jokeas well! Decided not to eat dry bread and went for brunch somewhere else. Read more

I have never left unhappy. The food is quite good, even if a but expensive. The atmosphere is fun, and its a good quiet place to... eat in the off hours. The fish and chips are one of the best in the are, paired with a Guinness its a great treat! Read more

Wonderful nook. Great Irish comfort food. The pot roast melted in my mouth. That gravy was divine, hint of sweet to all the... savory. Artichoke Dip was wonderful as well. Came at 7:30pm on Saturday. Was able to sit in the bar no problem, but tableswere available in the dining area as well. Great friendly staff. Guinness and half and halfs. Perfect compliment to the savory. Read more

We stopped in after hearing great reviews on the Bloody Mary drinks. The service was not great. We were seated and it took over... 10 minutes to simply be greeted. Service aside, the Bloody Mary's were pretty good. Read more

Disappointing & so petty. Just know, if you call in an order to go, they will short you. I paid $17 dollars for each corned beef... and cabbage. I know the portions they serve are bigger than this because we have dined in before. Olive can and hand for sizereference. We were both SO mad when I got home with ?dinner?. 5 shreds of cabbage? Why!? Also, happy hour appetizers doesn?tapply to take out orders? I?m sorry- do you NOT want to take our money ? You don?t have to serve us, no dishes, no time, nocleaning, no extras in restaurant? why would you charge more for takeout?! That?s insane to me! Ashlings? why!? We are both sodisappointed. We will not be back to Ashlings again until it becomes under new management. Now on with Dominos to save thenight. ???? Read more

I?ve been here several times since discovering this place February 2020 because it never disappoints. The staff is attentive... and friendly. Don?t be afraid to ask for suggestions. First visit? Order a Bloody Mary and don?t forget to mention the spicelevel you want. Then try the Colcannon Poppers to add to the smile. I?ve enjoyed all I?ve tried there but my sandwichsuggestion would be the Red Reuben (cuzI like things on the spicier side). As for the entree, the Guiness Pot Roast is the oneI order most, but again, there?s no wrong decision. You?re more than likely taking some of the sandwich or entree home butdon?t let that be a reason to not enjoy a dessert. Prepare to want to come back. ???? There?s also a brunch menu for theearly crowd on the weekends. I don?t recall having ordered anything other than the Eggs Benedict with salmon because it?s aguilty pleasure of mine. Maybe another reviewer will provide a bit more. ???? If you?re in/near Kenosha or need a reason to gothere, Ashling on the Lough is a great reason for the ride. It?s proximity to the lake offers relaxing views of Lake Michiganand a marina. There?s a walking trail very near the as well. Once inside, be sure to enjoy the Irish music in the backgroundas well as the quotes, blessings, and ads on the walls. You may have to look up for some. ???? Pictures are the drunkenmushrooms (with the Gaelic cider photobombing towards the rear), a raspberry mojito, County Clare meatloaf, Shepherd?s Pie, andShannon River Salmon Read more
