I've been there a few times but this time was the worst. We got there and we were seated fairly quickly considering we had 6... people, our waitress was not the best... At all, we ordered our drinks, then it felt like forever for her to come back and askfor our order. We all ordered waited 45 minutes just for her to come back and say that our order was not placed because they ranout of paper in the machine, we finally got our food 20 minutes after that, then one of our plates had hair in it and one of ourorders never came. Ok I more have a favorite place to go in Wisconsin. It's a must have for me. The atmosphere was cool, the food was delicious,... and the drinks!!!!! Can't beat the drink to price ratio. It was big, full, cold, and strong just the way I like it. Veryreasonable prices. I absolutely cannot complain. Thing again before hitting the road. I have to try these wings I've heard somuch about. 5+3???? Wow, and I mean wow. Talk about a blast from the past? It put me in the mood for the long gone Tic Toc club, ... Foxylady, Mr T's, Holidays, all places in Kenosha that the young folks don't remember. Or the Tropical in Racine or Brothers inRacine or ReRuns in Racine or Mr Kool in Racine! Although, Ron's is definitely better food wise. Working security at most ofthese places, gave me a lot of scars and quite a bit of trauma, lol! Also, plenty of stuff that I definitely won't ever talkabout! But, Ashley over at Ron's is quite the bartender. So, if you want to see class in a place that customers sometimes lack,go see Ashley! It's a Blast!!! Oh, and by the way, I don't know how they keep the bathrooms so spotless with all the drinkinggoing on lol, but that's a testament to the dedication of those employees working there. Clean bathrooms equal clean kitchens!Besides the food, ambiance is a really big deal. Hole in the wall? Divey? Love it! We had a day date on NYE. This is a must have stop when we hut up the Italian market. Had the Walleye sandwich and Blue Cheese... Hamburger. I absolutely love the tarter sauce. The place is BUSY on a Saturday afternoon. So much so that I don't recommend going there. Service was poor because the place was... too full. I'm guessing they're understaffed. Inside was dark and we were seated on a corner booth with very tall seats so wecouldn't see anything or anyone else. There was some machine rumbling off and on beneath our seats and it kept going off. I waskinda scared something would explode. We had a 40 minute wait before being seated, which was ok and expected, but another 40minute after putting in our orders before getting the food. Yup, too much. During the second 40 minute wait, the server nevercame back to check on our drinks, or to let us know the food was coming. She seemed friendly enough when she took our order andcame back with the check, but we didn't see her except for those times. Even the food was brought by someone else. The burgerwas ok. Nothing special, though the portions were huge and very filling. The price point is great. So if the service had beenjust a tad better, we would have left very satisfied, even though the food wasn't the most amazing burger I've ever had. Read more
