This IL guy has only been here once and after the first and only visit, my family & I already wanna come back. Came here on a... Sunday late morning this past August and the venue was packed but most definitely worth the wait. Ultra friendly service withan extensive breakfast/lunch & dinner menu and good food at reasonable prices in a clean dining environment. This is one ofthose restaurants that serves a good ol' home cookin' breakfast. I do like dining out for dinner in an upscale setting from timeto time but when it comes to breakfast I've always appreciated an inexpensive and traditional unfancy plate of grub. This was my go to breakfast food spot, then one day they decided to charge me individually for every single ice tea I drank.... Please keep in mind their cups are tiny, with ice 2 to 3 mouth fulls and the cup is empty. This resulted in my generally $12-15tab going all the way up to about $40!!! For eggs, bacon, bread and some seasoned water. This drink policy is absolutelyinsane! I have not been back since and will not be coming back unless this changes. Get 64oz cups and give one free refill,note in large font on the front of the menu your refill policy. Currently it's hidden in tiny font in the middle of the menu.Alternately give infinite refills like every other restaurant in America and just raise your food prices. I get it, the cost ofeverything has gone up. That's what happens when you vote democrat. But don't make staying hydrated and avoiding choking cost 40freaking dollars. Hard fail Tommy's, do better! Very busy, and with good reason. Service and food is excellent. I really must commend the waitresses; any others would say... they're overworked, the waitresses at Home Run handle the business with ease (at least, they make it look easy). It's been awhile since I felt 5 stars was not enough. Definitely worth a visit or two. Read more

Amazing breakfast! My boyfriend and I ordered the Home Run Skillet, added chorizo, and let me just say: SO good!!! We were able... to share a skillet between the two of us for $10.20 (+3.50 for chorizo) and we're both full. They keep the coffee coming.
