My favorite local restaurant! All the food is incredible — especially that fried sage pizza! — and great drinks/wine... selection, plus everyone who works there is always so wonderfully nice. We love the outdoor seating and it's always so cozy evenon a cold night with the heaters. Thank you for always being the best! Read more
Do yourself a favor and order pizza literally ANYWHERE else! I heard this place was good–imagine my shock when a $25 pizza... came out with nothing but black burnt crust, watery tomato sauce, and >$5 worth of prosciutto. I don't like leaving bad reviews,but this time I had to. They're charging exorbitant prices for food that's lower quality than a microwave pizza. Read more
This is an amazing local place with a short menu. Needless to say, the pizza is indeed a benchmark. I can make an argument for... it being the best in the Berkeley area. Besides, the milk soft serve is a big hidden gem in the menu. Read more
We sat outside under 2 shaded patio umbrellas. The food service was fast. Our pizza, fried sage, arrived within 2-3 minutes and... the “priest stranglers” pasta variety with bolognese came soon after. Read more
excellent local neighborhood Italian. Menu is limited but everything is excellent to good. Limited wine and beverage... selections but all good too. Quite friendly and efficient services. Pasta dishes are excellent - menu changes. We tried mostof pizzas, wood-burning oven, and we liked them all. Salads are generous in portions - two of us can never finish. Read more
Really liked the benchmark pizza! Dow was nicely salty and cheese was rich enough. Definitely I will visit again.
A really great place! I went in with no background and was very pleasantly surprised. The fried sage pizza was a flavor... explosion! The service and ambiance were both also great. They have a nice dining patio in front. Seems like a great date spot.I'll definitely be back! Read more
