My family and I stopped into Kensington Pizza for dinner for the first time. We ordered a small sausage and pepper and a large... pepperoni. The pan pizzas came pipping hot and were great. The large pizza was loaded with pepperoni. And, the owner came toour table to see if we enjoyed our pizza. He was very personable and spoke with us for some time. I ordered a 12 inch steak and cheese grinder with onions and mushrooms?. I like mushrooms. I ate a lot of the mushroom on my... grinder. The mushroom to steak ratio was sad. I understand that inflammation is real. I work in the industry. I rather pay moreto have actual steak on my grinder as opposed to a lb. Of mushroom. Not going back for a steak grinder. Read more

Placed an order of pizza and wings. As per the picture there was not 1 wing in the order. I kindly called Kensington pizza to... see if indeed it was an oversight, but to my surprised it was not. The owner or son was rude saying he only charges $1 per wing.When I informed him it?s not about the cost, but the principle that I never said drumsticks only and was expecting arepresentation of what I ordered. I drove back my food and moved onto Central Pizza for my order. It?s not about the cost, butclearly your customer services skills suck. I would never buy from there nor recommend this location?????. When I try a new pizza place, I always order the same thing: a simple pepperoni pizza. It's my litmus test, because if a pizza... restaurant can screw up one of the most basic pizzas there is, then it's not worth spending money to try anything else theymake. Kensington pizza blew me away with how well they were able to pass this test. First, the cheese was perfect. It wasn'trunny, and stretched when you pulled off a piece of the pie like a stereotypical pizza in a commercial. The sauce was sublime,with a flavor that reminded me of my favorite pizza restaurants from my childhood. They really loaded on the pepperonis so therewas a pepperoni in every bite, and they were full of flavor. Finally the crust was crunchy, flavorful, and kept all the toppingsin their rightful place. Not many pizza places get a perfect score from me, but I will be patronizing Kensington Pizza foryears to come, In moderation of course. This pizza is dangerous because it makes you just want to order it every week, and Ican't afford to add too many extra inches to my waist without buying several new pairs of pants. I ordered a four topping pizza bacon, onion, sausage and meatball, the pizza I got looked like just sausage and onion. The... toppings were barely there. Very disappointed. Will not be going back there anytime soon. Read more
