You have to visit here when you are in Kensington, PEI. The food was amazing and if you walk into the old train station style... restaurant you will appreciate the magic that comes out of that kitchen. Small space huge flavours. I got the special last night (not on the menu)! It was a crab and lobster sandwich with fries and it was soo good! 10/10... recommend if you can get your hands on it. Our waitress was also super friendly. We had our dog with us and we asked beforehandif we could sit in the patio and they had no problem accommodating us and even brought our dog a dish of water. Food was everything I had hoped for. We arrived to find out that they were fully booked from 4pm till close. We were visiting... from Ontario and it was our last night in PEI. We were so fortunate that there was a cancelation and the woman offered us thetable. We can't thank her enough for her kindness. Read more
Like most places on the island they are short staffed with short operating hours. This is the reason for 4/5 stars. Food was... simply amazing, fish and chips were great, wife had them as well and enjoyed it. Kids devoured their burgers (1 kids meal, 1regular burger) and every parent knows that is a magical feat in it's own right. Servers were also great, probably the #1 mealI had on my trip. Read more
Great atmosphere and very happy, friendly, chatty staff. Loved it. Was suggested if we wanted to come back to call and reserve... as seats aren't always available. The photos don't properly show how much food is on those plates. The Popper Burger was out ofthis world. Hope we can visit on the next trip to PEI. Read more
Where do I start?the staff, sooo friendly and helpful. Service was top notch. Located in what I believe is the old rail station... in Kensington, super chill little spot to sit and have a few drinks and some delicious grub. Their burgers?my word?they don?tcome much tastier than theirs. We ordered the triple classic station burger and the smokehouse burger. They were some of thebest burgers I?ve ever had. Fries were amazing and while plentiful, not overdone. The gravy on their poutine is a beef gravy andit?s so dang good. They use local cheese curds as well. Their soup of the day, I can?t remember what it was, but it was freakingamazing. Haha And the fish?oh the fish?biggest piece of haddock I?ve gotten anywhere yet! They make a cranberry Moscow mule thatis to die for, I could sit and drink that all dang day!! Highly highly recommend a visit there!!! Read more
We had an amazing Meal here today reserved as table of 4 but added 2 more. They were very accomodating. If I could add more... stars I would for this review. Our waitress was hands down the best, I have reviewed many many restaurants since movinghere,she was above expectations. You made our Mother's Day lunch Amazing. My brother was a suprise from Ontario. The foodtoday was incredible, most of us started with a bowl of the red pepper soup, Wow,it was amazing, my bro had 2 bowls lol. FishTaco, fish, fish and chips and the lobster crab sandwich were above par. We will definately be back. This is my New favoritein PEI. If you have not tried this amazing restaurant, please do. 8 star by far. Besides the food being the best, so are thestaff. Looking forward to our next date. Read more
The old train station is a nice location, but we were near the door and it was annoying having people come into the door and... stand right next to your table. The fish was good but not PEI good. The batter was a bit heavy and excessive. The burgers wereexcellent with loads of taste. Read more
