It?s been almost a decade since I?ve last visited Franklin square deli and it?s still the best sandwiches in the area by far. ... Friendly staff, good food. I would upload a picture with this review typically but there?s nothing left to photograph, oops. Read more

Best sandwich shop in Kent! The daily specials are fantastic, regular sub sandwiches are delicious and the few times I have... ordered catering trays, the service was always top notch. The sandwiches are more expensive than a chain sub shop, but wellworth the extra money. My personal favorite is The Little Italy! Read more

I asked to make my own bagel , as that is what it says you can do on the online menu, and the older gentleman who took my order... was not very kind about doing this for me. It was my first time in here and I was a little confused about how everything workedand he was very rude and made me feel unwelcome here and was not helpful. He didn?t make eye contact with me and shook his headwhen I was ordering. Definitely won?t come back. Read more

My friend told me about the Franklin Square Deli one day and I decided to go out and give them a try and I'm so happy I did. The... staff was very friendly and helpful for my first time. They were very superb when it came to making my sandwich. Not only was itdelicious but they got it to me pretty fast especially during a busy time of the day. If you're in the downtown Kent area Ihighly recommend that you go give them a shot. They really are the best Sandwich joint at Kent. Read more

I went in to the shop today and was greeted by the owner. I asked for a Cuban with a few things off the sandwich because of food... preferences. He began to criticize me and he barely let me order my sandwich the way I wanted it in the first place... not tomention while making my sandwich, the whole time he continued to criticize and patronize the choices I made for a sandwich I wasgoing to be eating, not him. He then personally came up to me afterwards to have a conversation about why I should just eat thesandwich how it?s originally made and how he dislikes when people come in asking for changes. I feel if someone were to haveproblems with eating, this scenario would of been devastating. If someone is very self conscious about what they eat, he couldof completely ruined the one food they could tolerate. I used to go every week and order the same sandwich, but I was made souncomfortable by the owner patronizing me over a sandwich. I will more than likely not be going back. The plain and simple factis that I was eating the sandwich and PAYING HIM to make something I wanted to eat. My money will go to kind & accommodatingestablishments. Read more

It was alright. I got a number 7 without the olive oil or vinegar.. They didn't put the lettuce, tomato or onion on.. I don't... know why.. Just bland. Don't think the oil etc would of changed it. But they lots of other sandwiches that sounded yummy. Read more
