went a couple times and every time, it?s gross. the only thing i go for is the dumplings bc the dumpling wrapper is the kind i... like. went there today to get them and there were long bug legs on the outside. looked further and saw a bug body, i think a bigmosquito or something. and more legs in the container. im disgusted and should?ve stopped coming here when i realized how grossthe other food was. obviously not a clean environment to be serving food in. Been going here since I was little. A special spot me and grandma had! The best Chinese food by far in Portage County.
I?ve been in Kent for 15 years and figured I would give it a shot. The food was prepared swiftly and delivered promptly. The... donuts were great! That?s the last redeeming quality of my meal. The rest of the food went into the trash. I never throw foodaway, I would rather give it to my dogs, but this I wouldn?t feed to them. I ordered honey cashew chicken. I was expectingsomething with chicken and cashews. There was a sliver of chicken that tasted/looked/felt like a band aid and a MOUNTAIN ofcarrots, celery, mini-corn-on-the-cob?, two wildly discolored cashews, and what I can only assume was plastic rice. Crab ragoons and egg rolls were good. Fried rice was cold and lo mein was just ok. Good if you need something quick and nearby.... But most other places are much better. Read more
Horrible way of presenting food. We order four different items. I had veg fried rice. I?d rate it 3/5. We have an order for hot... and sour soup. The quantity was ridiculously small for the main course. Schezwan chicken had no chicken in it. Prices onlinediffered from prices at the place. They were upped by 1 dollar. Chopsey was missing in one dish. Taste was so bland especiallythe soup. Felt like puking. We had to trash out a lot of food. Price to portion is very bad. Who in the world packs juicy foodin a foam container? It leaked inside their paper bags. Hot food in foam containers..they are killing their customers Since itwas a takeout, I cannot comment on the personnel hospitality. No way I will visit this place again. I was doing my laundry at the laundry mat next-door and seen that there was a Chinese restaurant so I went in there to get some... food and I placed an order of white rice Fried rice and two spring rolls. I ate my rice first and as I got halfway through Ifound three bugs in three different pieces of rice. I went inside and I showed the man inside the bugs in the food and heconfirmed that there was bugs. I asked them for a refund and as soon as I did that they started getting all snotty with me.Telling me that they were only going to give me a partial refund because I ate half my rice and one of the spring rolls, Then Itold the lady that I want a full refund because I?m not going to eat the rest of the food and I already ate food that wascontaminated with bugs in it. After I told her that I wanted a free refund she started screaming at me in Chinese and I do notunderstand Chinese so they really could?ve been saying anything. As soon as she gets started to get disrespectful with me herhusband joined her and started yelling to and her son that works there was threatening to come on the other side of the counterand fight me because we wouldn?t leave without a refund. I wouldn?t even feed this food to a homeless person I definitely wouldnot recommend it to anyone Thinking about going there. Food was not what it used to be there was a lady in there yelling and complaining about her order and I understand why.
