Went to this Mexican Restaurant for the first time today, in the area and had some time to kill. I like Mexican food. Went in... between 11-12 noon. There were very few people there, but it seemed to take a long time for waitress to come to check on myselfor others at only tables, I was seated outside in patio area. Only two other tables that had customers. I was hungry, so I gotup, had to go inside to tell them I was ready to place my order. ???? When Food came, I ordered from there lunch menu, stillsome what pricey.???? I ordered there crispy chicken tacos, plus rice and beans. It was indeed great tacos, the white shreddedchicken was cooked to perfection. Also Had a strawberry margarita, that was $ 11.00 dollars. $$$. When ready to go bill came to$27.00 dollars, gave them debit card, and when they brought it back to the table she had rung up and charged me $32.00. Did notsign,???? she rushed off to fix the problem. Had to be refunded and card rung a second time for the correct amount! It kind ofjust all rubbed me in the wrong way. I did not leave a tip! Really really good food. Ambiance was great. Price not too bad given the two previous opinions I just mentioned. Certainly not... the very best place EVER…. So you can’t give it a 5 Star can you?? Read more
Got the California burrito my wife got the 3 Cheese Nacho. Great amount of food, nice corn as a side! Chill staff friendly, over... all nice place to get a bite! Read more
I’ve tried this restaurant a few times. Each time the food has been great (minus the hair we found in our burrito the first... time) but the service is horrible. What’s even more upsetting, we were forced to pay gratuity because we had 3 adults and 4kids in our party. It took forever to get chips once we were seated, about 10 min. Then we ordered drinks, another 10 minutes.Once our food came out we were missing items. It took another 10-15min for missing items to come out. We had to ask forsilverware, napkins, drink refills etc. We were patient but never once did the manager or waitress come over and apologize. Thatday I definitely wouldn’t have left a tip. That’s why I believe they ended up adding gratuity to our bill. They knew theywere getting a mandatory tip so they definitely did not show any customer service! It is rare that I leave a non-5-star Review, but this is my experience: It took 20-25 minutes to be greeted at our table...they... were busy with only 2 servers in the bar (one was the bartender). It took 45 minutes to get our food (1 dish...enchilada). Pretty sure our chicken enchilada had some shredded pork in it, which would be fine if I weren't allergic to pork...and, one ofthe servers forgot to check on it, or just wasn't concerned (I think the latter). As a former server myself, I understandgetting slammed, as they were very busy, but this is my experience. Server was nice. Chips and salsa were good! The space iscool-looking. A quickie lunch has turned into 2 hours of my time...but, there's only one kind of quickie that I enjoy thattakes up 2 hours of my time. Read more
Everyone is so friendly and has amazing customer service. If you want the best Tortilla Soup, this is the place. I warn you, you... will want the bowl. It huge but you want every bite. They do take out. The Tortilla Soup is sent kind of like Pho. Hot broth andthen you put all the fixin's when you get home. My husband likes the other food but I honestly go for the Soup. The bacon wrapped jalapeños are, honestly, the best things on the planet. The house margaritas are very tasty, but are a bit... small for the price. Definitely better to go during happy hour, as their prices are definitely over inflated. True foreverywhere right now, though. This is very much a tex-mex style Mexican food (not authentic traditional Mexican food)… Fun chain styler restaurant but... nothing special. I ordered the shrimp ceviche - it was okay, nothing fantastic. And I got the 3 margarita flight - looked superyummy and fun, but looked better than they tasted (very sweet margaritas)! Ps chips and salsa was a nice bonus, but if yourspice sensitive, the salsa was on the hotter side. Service was great!
