Best chicken wings I've had in a long time. Skin is perfection.

I've visited Lucky Star twice now. I've had take out and dined in. Food is average/good and I would visit again. For take out,... I had Szechuan chicken. It was good, but the food was swimming in sauce. While dining in, I had the lunch special with GeneralTao's chicken, an egg roll, egg flower soup, and steamed rice. This meal was under $12 and it was satisfying. Taste profile wasaverage. Portion size was just right. Service and atmosphere are lacking, but it's not a deal breaker. Both times I've been toLucky Star, staffing was bare minimum. Read more

Food is good, but they make this 10 years old kid work at the front desk as a cashier, I think it’s owner’s son, I don’t... think it’s legal to make a 10 years old boy to work Read more

We dined-in and it was amazing. The best Mongolian chicken I've had in a long while. Will definitely be going back to try more... menu items in the future, even though I don't live anywhere near this location. Read more

Takeout: I ordered off the dinner menu Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice, House Special Fried Rice and Hot & Spicy... Soup. The only complaint I have is with the Hot & Spicy Soup. I know what it tastes like and on today I ordered a Large and itseems as they just skim this soup with just.a Lot of Oil and threw in the ingredients and you see there is no consistency ittastes just like oil only with a hint of hot spice. I eat this with my house special rice and it was not the same.. i couldnteat this soup, which is why they are getting a 2star. Never again!! Read more

After reading multiple reviews, I decided to take my chances and order some food from this restaurant. I am going to agree with... several reviews that state that there are obviously some cost-cutting practices going on at this restaurant. I ordered sesamechicken, cashew chicken lunch specials and an order of egg rolls. Sesame Chicken - This was tasty and while there wasdefinitely more breading than chicken, compared to the other items I thought it was actually ok. There was zero spice to thisdish which made it taste a little off from what I was expecting, but I still liked it. Cashew Chicken - One of the photos showsthis dish. It was mostly carrots and celery. There were a few very small pieces of chicken (had I not made the order myself, Iwould have questioned what the protein was) and not ONE cashew in my cashew chicken. I chose the crab rangoons to go with mylunch. These had about 1/2 tsp of filling of some white substance that had a different taste. Egg Rolls - My other photo showsthis. There were only a few strands of cabbage in these egg rolls, nothing else. *Summary - I didn't think anything tastedbad. The portions sizes were good. The lack of substance to all of the dishes were very disappointing. Because of this Iwon't be eating from here again and don't recommend it. Read more
