Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic staff. I had the pork chops and paired it with collard greens and candied yams. The... breading on the pork chops is very light and flavorful and is completed by Nana's sauce. Highly recommend coming by and enjoyingthe great food served here. Read more

I came across this gem from a review on TikTok. This was my family?s first time in Seattle and the food was good for our soul.... Everything was delicious from the porkchops, to the cheesy macaroni & cheese, the little spicy kick that was in the greens andthose sweet potatoes...they were a dessert by themselves. It was a little over $30 (one meat & 3 sides) but that was not badbecause you tend to pay for quality. The quantity received was sufficient, I had leftovers sides (they taste even better the dayafter). We also had fried chicken and catfish, also top notch -quite delicious. Unfortunately, they didn?t have any dessert. Sadface. That?s why I can only give four stars because we didn?t have a complete meal but if anyone is looking for a good soul foodexperience, don?t hesitate to try this place. You will not be disappointed. This place is Heaven on Earth! Fried Chicken & Shrimp are simply amazing & those candies yams are the best! Can?t pass up the... green beans, too. Wish I lived near here to have this frequently as it reminds me of home in the Midwest/South but it?s worththe hour so drive from Seattle. Cannot recommend this place enough! Read more

The catfish, shrimp, and chicken were incredible! It feels like you are eating delicious homemade food. For the sides, we tried... the collared greens, mac and cheese, candied yams, and potato salad and all of them were amazing! My favorite were the collaredgreens, they had such a pleasant kick to them. To finish my meal I enjoyed their sweet tea and definitely reminded me of my timein North Carolina. Read more

I had the 2 mains and 2 sides. The catfish was out of this world, fresh fried, flaky, and delicious. I had a problem with the... tartar sauce. They give you 1 small cup. I told them it wasn?t enough. It was 50 cents for another small cup. I found myselfrationing the amount of tartar sauce I used with each bite. The pork chops were 2 wafer thin pieces. Tasted like they were friedawhile ago. Not fresh. It was like pork leather. I ordered NaNa?s sauce. It came in a larger cup than the tartar sauce. Itdefinitely helped those sad pork chops. My sides were collard greens and mac and cheese. They were good, especially the collardgreens. The cornbread wasn?t finished. It was like dessert cornbread, sweet. And the corn mill wasn?t cooked all the way whichmade it grainy. If you plan on eating in your car, ask for silverware. They won?t give it to you unless you ask for it. I hadto go back in to get it. When you cash out, be careful. They automatically set the tip at 20%. For takeout, REALLY!!! They didget me for a 7% service fee for ?inflation?. Said they didn?t want to change the prices on the menu, in case the prices camedown. I didn?t see the charge until I was in my car. As good as the catfish was, I won?t be back. Read more
