My coworker and I ate supper there 2 nights in a row, and we had an overall good experience both times. I ordered their 12oz... broiled ribeye, and it was a bit dry on one end, but not the other. The second night I got the fried chicken which was prettygood, but had a bit of a strange flavor to it, pretty sure it had something to do with the oil. Surprisingly GREAT small town restaurant with BIG TIME service, excellent food, plenty of choices, daily specials, and most... include desert with meals. Prices VERY reasonable! I ordered veal cutlet (my favorite) with mashed potatoes, and a saladrequesting no croutons, dressing or cheese. Served as ordered. Companion had roast pork with fried potatoes a fully loaded saladand garlic dressing. We both enjoyed an ice cream dish (our choice of flavors) for dessert. Both of us were happy, leaving full,but taking a couple of extra slices of cherry pie to go. The staff was superb, being COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY! Felt like steppingback into a truly 'customer service' focused era. Left a generous well deserved tip. Definitely will travel this way again. Read more
First time in this lovely place. They have a really good service and to be honest the food is great and quality the same, it has... a really reasonable price and the amount of food is vast. The food was definitely diner style, very traditional, good food. We have been twice, the service is OK. The waitresses were... nice but definitely forgot a couple drink refills, things like that, otherwise everyone was pleasant And seemed to be doingtheir best. The atmosphere is nice it is a little dated, it could definitely use a deep clean and some updates but it definitelyfits the food and the overall vibe of a small town. Read more
