My wife and I moved out to Kentland just last year, and this is by far the best McDonald's we've ever been to. The staff is... always very friendly, we've never had a problem with them messing up our order, and the food is always fresh. I'm over the whole thing about the broken ice cream and shake machines, but when you're business is founded on beef patties and... you don't have those, it's probably time to close your doors. McDs isn't well known for the friendly polite staff, so on thisvisit they had nothing but aggravation to offer. Read more
Where?s the beef? It?s difficult to get in and out of this location. They have two order boxes but they only use one. They don?t... park cars when the order in front of you is too big. The drive-through line blocks the entrance. Order was wrong. Personanswering the phone doesn?t listen to understand. The one star is for the nice employee taking the payments and the fresh fries.Definitely would not return if that was an option. Read more
It's always a very tough deal to come to a McDonald's that's good. I've been to this location a few times before. I stopped in... on my back from Lafayette; the food and service was incredible. We had to wait a little bit for my girlfriend's mocha frappe butthe guy at the window was super nice. It took a half hour to get home to eat, but it surprisingly was still hot and tasted so,so fresh. As McDonald's go, this is a nice one. They even have a dog walking area! Almost always very busy, expect to wait because... corporate would rather pay Mariah than hire more employees with higher wages! Read more
The inside of this McDonald's, is the cleanest one I have ever been in. Floors, bathrooms, countertops. Employees are very... hard working and the restaurant shows it. July 2019. They finished remodeling. Very nice. Return for visit October 17, 2019.We ate in, we waited 10 minutes for our 2 hamburgers and drinks. They were more concerned in serving drive through as fast asthey could and people who ate inside had to wait. Where we sat we saw cars come and go as we waited for our food. That isn'tfair. Hot apple pies were barely warm. Very disappointed. This has been the McDonald's I always looked forward to eating at whenwe went to Lafayette. Read more
Update: 12/08/2022. I will likely NEVER come back to this McDonald's until they do a clean sweep of all the racist, ableist, and... anti-semitic employees! My housemates came back, thoroughly horrified, after having heard some awful jokes (I will NOT repeat!).Even after confronting the employees, they were not given an apology and instead more insensitive jokes and comments. This maybe the only McDonald's around me, but I'm not supporting it ever again--not until those employees are FIRED and McDonald'sapologizes! Read more
