Really impressed with the quality and variety of ciders at Maritime Express. The ?Snowed In? was perfectly tart and sweet for a... strong 8% cider. There are many food dishes I?d like to try but I can say the fish cakes and chicken tacos were good. Read more
A great place for cider, beer, solid food and friendly staff. The historic building adds to the vibe and is definitely worthy of... a 'gram photo or two. Their seasonal cider right now is a Strawberry Basil which is delicious. For those travelling with dogs,the patio is dog friendly with a nice breeze, umbrellas for shade, and water for the pups. Very cozy environment, very nice staff, welcoming, the fish sandwich very tasty, the fish cakes were good too, the chef's soup... was delicious, the decorations and historic location are a plus. Very recommended spot. Read more

I had the Spicy Motherclucker with Frites w/ aioli and green onions on them. It was mothercluckin great! Best chicken sandwich... I?ve ever had, it?s a shame I had to go back home. The chicken sandwich is hot honey breaded, comes with an egg, thick cut pieceof bacon and firestorm mayo. It was amazing. I had two drinks; a cocktail and their bumbleberry cider, both were really good.When I go back to Nova Scotia I?m definitely eating here again. I?m going to dream about this food.
