The staff here are unpleasant and unhelpful. And McDonald's food is always meh but cheap. I doubt that'll ever change. And to... top it off the restaurant felt like they had the air conditioning on so it was colder inside than out almost. Update dropped to1 star should be 0. I didn't think any McDonald's could be worse than the one on Michigan Street. But this one beats it handsdown. You get stories about how their short staffed and then you pull up to the window and you see three or four people standingaround doing nothing. Well except waiting on the counters or sitting on the counter flapping their gums. But I know thesereviews don't ever change anything. Because McDonald's will never pay people more than barely minimum wage. Franchisee ownersare too great for that. So you get what you pay for staff wise. So if you lose sales because instead of pushing 100 peoplethrough the drive-thru they pushed 20 cuz 80 drive off and frustration. Read more
I work very close to this location. So it is an easy option for lunch and breakfast. Worst McDonald?s in Grand Rapids, hands... down. They don?t take drive thru order in order. They routinely mess up orders. Nobody cares at this location. Worst customerservice I have ever seen. Ill choose any other restaurant in the area before this one. Read more
Genuinely the worst McDonald?s in town, arguably the whole state. They always serve stale refried fries, but today was the last... straw for me when they actually had the audacity to give me fries that were literally all brown: EVERY last fry was dark brown,brittle, and cold. I?ve frequented this place cautiously over the years, thinking they surely can?t be bad each time, but to mysurprise, they ARE bad each time. I very rarely leave reviews, but it?s seriously a feat for a fast food joint to be soconsistently subpar with stale food, refrying fries like nuts, snail slow service even when lines are short, and getting orderswrong each time. Workers also seem zoned out as if they're confused by what they're doing. Truly, I don?t know what the hell iswrong with this place b/c it?s been this way for years. Can someone please check already if this place isn?t being run byheadless chickens or something, b/c the lack of standards is getting seriously alarming (and mind-boggling) at this point. Food was good but the food window staff person was rude and unfriendly. There was no one at the first window so I went to the... second window and she told me I had to drive around again and wait in line to pay. Luckily, another staff took my card andcharged my purchase. The first person said "I wouldn't do that". I would have went to another restaurant. Read more
The least I can say is their ice cream machine was up AND working on A Sunday at 830pm! Woo-hoo. Other than that, smh sadly... unimpressed. We were sitting at the speaker for 4 minutes before somebody spoke to us and told us to order when we were ready.There were 3 cars in front of us (total). It took 26 minutes to get through the drive through only getting a 6 piece kid's happymeal and a $1 ice cream cone. After leaving, the fries were terrible. You would think after waiting that long you could at leastget fresh fries but, no. Not fresh, and also they tasted like they were fried in old dirty oil. Very sad and disappointingexperience. Worst experience ever! I would give this place negative stars if i could. Went and ordered a quarter pounder hamburger minus the... pickles and mustard and there was not supposed to be cheese on it either added extra salt,onion and ketchup. I got back to myvehicle and opened the box only to discover the disgusting barely melted cheese and mustard on my burger. So I go back and letthem know the situation. They make me a new burger and I go back to the vehicle to eat it and by the time I opened it I was toofar away to do anything about the mustard they once again put on the burger, the salt was so heavy I was worried my bloodpressure would be permanently raised(joking but the salt was too much). Also they have very lazy staff, a bunch of kids whocould care less. All the employees were doing was talking to each other or on their phones, it was ridiculous. My "extra ketchup and extra mustard " added after the second try (see photo). The first sandwich we ordered barely had anything... on them. Almost dry as a bone. It seemed like a joke when I saw the first sandwich. I didn't get a picture of it, because Ididn't think that my next sandwich would be prepared like said photo. I wasn't going to go back in line for the third time tohave it fixed. Not a big deal, you get what you pay for! Read more
Sat in line for 15 minutes at least, sat at the speaker for another 5 before anyone was available. Though there were no cars in... front of me holding up the line. They cleared one order at a time. I'm not sure if it was due to lack of staffing or they weretrying to keep their numbers down. Either way through all of this my order was still wrong and I over paid for a poorly prepareddouble cheese. The capacity that they are operating at during these renovations is lacking and not worth your time. Saveyourself from a headache, dont go to this location until the renovations are complete.
