Love the food here. I don't get in as often as I'd like but I will try to think of it more often. Very good food and very... friendly service. Family owned and operated. Food was great. However, I was looking at their menu on THEIR OWN WEBSITE and it was posted on the page after you click the link... to their menu. I called and ordered food based on that menu and those prices, was not given a price over the phone. I arrived atthe restaurant to get my food and was charged double what I thought I would. Their menu says tacos are $2.50 a piece, when Iarrived they were in fact $4 a piece. Tamales that were advertised as $1.49 we're $2.75. almost everything was DOUBLE what Ithought it was. Good food, but that doesn't matter when shady stuff like this happens. You guys did this on purpose, that's whyyou wouldn't give me a price over the phone. Probably won't be back because I wasn't taken care of AT ALL even after showingthem their own menu on their own website was displaying these prices. If they had taken care of me or even showed that theycared at all I wouldn't have written this, but they literally laughed and said no that's not the price and then just went silentwhen I asked what they would do for me as a customer for this major inconvenience and misunderstanding and I basically got toldto f off. This place is a hole in the wall, but some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. This place is a must try!
The good: Friendly service, simple menu, great food--our group had a torta, enchiladas, and quesadilla. All were delicious. See... pics. The not so great: We moved to a table from the booths because the seats and tables were sticky, our drinks were neverrefilled nor were we checked on after being served (we found water ourselves), Mexican rap from the kitchen seemed like it wasmore for the cook than for the patrons. I had the alambre, not sure if that's spelled correctly. It was fantastic. Good portions, great quality in the food, and the... texture of it was great! The lingering of spicy after having a few bites was a great feeling. I would highly recommend. Servicewas good at lunch. I've had better, but I've also had worst. Read more
WOW! Very delicious authentic food. I've only eaten here twice recently, but each time was perfect.
