Nice enough experience, but DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE WINE CLUB. After receiving two shipments, I decided financially I did not... want to continue. Mike decided to try to strong arm me and deceitfully sent wine I did not want to ?make up? for mecanceling I spoke to him and said I did not want anything else, he quickly charged my card. Such poor business practice. Irefused the charge and my credit card company charged them back. Stay away from there and especially their wine club. Read more

We were not impressed with our experience at this tasting. Food was served on paper plates with plastic silverware and cups,... despite the high prices for all of the food items. Our whole party was unable to palate three of the 6 wines we were served andthe other three were subpar. We paid the 15 higher fee for the ?piazza tasting? but felt it was no more special than the regulartasting room experience. Sadly would not return to this cellar. Read more

This place was at best mid. The staff was somewhat rude. Our party arrived, a large trolley group of 27 with reservations, they... staff made an issue and argued with guests about splitting up individual parties of two. The wine was okay, definitely could doa lot better at some of the other family wineries. They have a gift shop with packaged food and drink to buy too which might benice to stop at. The best part here is the gelato, where the staff is really nice. There's no views, just a small patio area towalk around. Read more

I loved VJB so much, I had to go back two weekends in a row. My first wine educator, Bo was incredibly attentive and kind,... going out of his way to find answers to obscure questions I had about wine chemistry. Every moment he was at our table he wasenthusiastic, smiling, and authentically showing up as someone passionate about what he was pouring. (If he wasn?t passionateabout it, someone get him a Hollywood contact because he had me convinced). His storytelling abilities were out of this world, making us feel connected to the VJB family and legacy. My second wine educator, Kim, was awesome as well. She went in depthabout food pairings for the last red wine we were poured. As a passionate home cook, I loved hearing her opinions. She wasattentive as well, making sure our table was going to be set up well after we had a mishap with water and wind. Read more

I went here for a wine tasting with a small group and we had the Barrel Room to ourselves. The sommelier was highly... knowledgeable and friendly, making sure everyone understood what they were tasting and got to sip extra if they loved avarietal. The food was also phenomenal. Ample parking and clean restrooms. Read more

Our favorite winery! It?s why we usually choose Sonoma over Napa when deciding where to visit. We love Italian wine, and VJB is... straight out of Italy. Their Barbera is our favorite. We also love the Montepulciano. Their food is fantastic, as they maketheir own cheese in house and use it on their delicious brick oven pizza. They have fantastic gelato as well. Stop in for lunchand a tasting, no reservations required! Read more

They seated us with a menu and didn?t tell us we need to go inside to order so we were just ignored for 10 minutes without any... heaters outside. Then we go and order a $28 pizza and get paper plates and plastic forks. This is just annoying. Go to Paloozainstead. This place will just make you angry. There?s no service at all and it?s overpriced. Also the sausage is gross but thepepperoni is good. Read more
