The dining area is always clean, drink station, too. Service is usually prompt, and good.
The people that work here are the stupidest. Sign says open at 5 am. You pull up to order n they say they don't open till 6 am.... Stopped there Saturday morning around 8 am. They didn't even have biscuits ready. Said it would be 30 minutes before they wouldbe done. After they had all ready took my order n money. No wonder you hardly ever see people there. Had me wait in drive thru for 20 min then asked me to pull around front. 1argued with me when I told them they have me a regular... pop when I ordered a diet. Been a diabetic for 30+ years I know what I ordered. If you knew the wait was gonna be that long whydidn't you tell me before you took my money. That was the last time I'll eat there. I have lived around Keokuk since I was 5. I have never been so unhappy with this place before. I ordered 2 meals the whopper... meal no ketchup md, and the bacon king w onion rings md. We waited 15 min to get our food and my whopper had ketchup both thefries and onion rings were almost ice cold .So I politely went in and stood at counter for good five min before I was approachedby lady from drive thru when I again politely asked for the whopper no ketchup and to please get fresh fries and onion ringsthe lady took the bag from me and said nothing to me I went and sat down waited few min then walked back to counter as I stoodat counter the same lady in drive thru answered her head set and I quote"I will be with you when I can" That seems extremelyrude and unprofessional to me.I definitely will not be returning to Keokuk Burger King until I see better reviews and hear fromothers things are improving ....Only one gentleman asked me if I needed anything else and apologized for there mistake and hecame all the way from the back to do so maybe the lady in drive thru should be in back and him upfront handling customers....IfI could give less than one star I would... They could not get an ice cream cone right after 3 attempts. They kept trying to give me food. It was super hot out. I sat in... line for 20 mins..I was the only one in line at first... I only ordered an ice cream cone!. I handed the food bag back to themthrough the window because It wasn't mine. They took 5 more mins. Handed me a different bag. I check inside it and it was a mealso I handed it back. Lol they took it back again. All during COVID mind you. They had gotten me a lopsided cone with half whatyou normally get.. they gave all the handled food to the poor older couple behind me.. I hope no one was sick for theresake. Maybe just bad timing? For no managers here today, these ladies are doing anEXCELLENT Job and doing the most even tho a few things went wrong. I never... have any issues here but the shift leaders and crew made it right and I respect the hard @$$ work and effort. Read more
