I went to keswick to visit a friend and we got hungry so they ordered food. I?m from Toronto, so I?m used to eating a lot of... different cuisines, but I have to say, for a take out Chinese restaurant, their quality is on par with those dine in restaurantsthat charge at least double the price for food. I learned that in Chinese cuisine, there is this special way of making the foodsuper good and addictive with a smoky type aroma and flavour. It?s super rare for take out restaurants to have anything REMOTELYCLOSE to this flavour but it?s insane that their dishes have it!! Even the fried rice!!! It seems so simple but it?s not! Ittakes a LOT of skill to create that flavour, and I find myself craving their food and struggling to find something similar evenin Toronto, especially for this price point. My friend and I were discussing this and they mentioned that none of the otherrestaurants in the area have this, and maybe I?m biased because this was the first restaurant I tried in the area, but there?sno way I?m going to bother trying the other places lol. One tip that my friend mentioned though was that their wait times tendto be long because it?s a mom and pop type shop, so be sure to call ahead!! But it?s SO WORTH THE WAIT! ???????????? Read more

Decent place for Chinese food, I have ordered a fried rice and chicken was delicious and timing was perfect. Will go back soon..
I think this is one of the better Chinese food restaurants in keswick and have eaten here a lot over the past 5 years after... trying the other local restaurants. They have friendly staff, who are polite and courteous and the food has always been freshand tasty. The chop suey, fried rice, beef and broccoli and won ton soup are all good. Price is very reasonable as well. Mybiggest and consistant complaint is the chicken they use for their fried dishes like sesame chicken and general tso, its ALWAYSchewy and dry and after feedback 3 times they still haven't addressed this problem. The time management at this resturant is extremely poor. I am always stuck waiting at the door or in the car for at least an... extra 20-30 minutes? most recently I ordered just a small plate. I was told they would call me in 15-20 minutes. I called themafter 40 minutes and they said it would be another 5 minutes and that they?d call me when it?s ready? I then waited another 20minutes and decided to call back and cancel my order. This is when they told me my order was ready for pick-up? extremelydisappointing because the food is so yummy but waiting approximately an hour for such a small dish and being mislead for theestimated time really ruins this place for me. the taste is awful, we ordered 6 dishes... it was all hot, and cooked but absolutely lacking in flavour. The beef pad thai was... so bad we actually threw that out, the beef was very gamey, the noodles had no flavour at all just tinted red. The kids refusedto eat the fried rice. I had high hopes after hearing such great things from others in town but I'm now just starting to thinkthey've never had good chinese food. Read more
