My husband and I came here for the first time last week. He ordered eggs, bacon, homefries and toast and I got the French toast... with bacon. We both had the fresh grapefruit juice with it. We both loved the fresh juice, my husband enjoyed his whole mealfor the most part. I thought the French toast was fine, but I've had fluffier french toast with more or a carmelization at someother places. I still thought they good as far as french toast goes though. My biggest issue was the bacon. Not crispy at all,covered in grease for both of us. There was so much grease there was a puddle on both our plates. I really dislike undercookedbacon and a lot of it was chewy fat. I do appreciate that they try to use organic ingredients when possible and use healthiercooking methods. Price was also fair. The service was great. The atmosphere was a bit too tight. Tables are very close togethercreating a very loud atmosphere leaving very little room around you. Overall if you're eating here definitely ask for yourbacon to be extra crispy, otherwise it will be very fatty. You may need to dab it with your paper towel to avoid a puddle of oilon your plate when you receive it. Everything else I thought was good and as expected at a good price. You'll get a fancier moreflavourful breakfast at symposium with more space and privacy, but for the price difference I would go here again. Read more
I never thought I'd ever fall in love again but Sherrie has me loving the Sunset Grill Experience! She is a next level server... and I always leave full and with a smile!! Infact the entire team there has never let me down! The sausages are a nice escapefrom this grim world and with the fast coffee refills I'll be wired enough to take it on! If I could give 0 stars I would. I came here for breakfast and the food looked delicious. However, around 20 minutes in, I had... bad stomach pains. I went to the bathroom and threw up. Needless to say, it was a traumatic experience and I will not be comingback ever again. Read more
The restaurant was very clean, restrooms were clean, plenty of parking, food was hot and served perfectly to my liking but the... BEST part of the dining experience came from the welcoming, well mannered, knowledgeable, helpful and kind waitress, Sandra. Soattentive to her customers without being over bearing. Actually, all the staff at this location seemed awesome but our personalexperience was with Sandra. Although we're not living in the Keswick area, we'd gladly go back for the great service. I got the Eggs Florentine, which was awesome!!! This is the go to place in keswick for breakfast. The food is always the... perfectly cooked here. Service is fast, staff are very friendly. Their three eggs and Turkey bacon was also good and theircoffee was fresh. We didn't have to wait in line to get a table and their staff greeted us instantly as we stepped into therestaurant. Nice cozy old fashion atmosphere and very good service for me as first time in this area. I wish I could visit again this place.
