The first time I had this sushi it was great! One year later, with closures etc I had the chance to go back. This is my first... review ever, and I have had many bad meals but this tops the cake! This is by far the worst Sushi I have had - it?s incrediblydisappointing. Granted we didn?t opt for the specialty maki rolls and chose simpler ones for the sake of the children but therewas complete lack of quality and taste. The rice was stale and hard, the top was covered with a sauce in a very unappetizing wayto conceal the inside of the role, the inside ingredients were hard stale and chewy! I had doubted this restaurant, as it is difficult to find good food in Keswick, but I was very surprised by the quality of food... they serve. I often (almost exclusively) order the medium maki tray. It is definitely enough food for 3 people. Fish qualityis good. Rice quantity is alright, a bit wet, but otherwise, if you're looking for decent sushi at a decent price, thisrestaurant will do well to curb any cravings. Read more
The quality of food is great. sashimi is super fresh. Ordered the love boat plus medium maki platter that 6 people couldnt... finish them - good portion. The only thing not everyone liked is that one or two maki roll seems only have cucumber, avocado andcarrot in them, where none of us is vegan. I wish there is an option to substitute those to other preferred rolls. All by all weall liked the food and had a great birthday dinner at home. Read more
The sushi rolls were delicious but unfortunately the miso soup smelled and tasted strongly of a cleaning product and decided it... was best not to drink it. I loved the shrimp tempura. It was very crunchy and non-greasy. I'd advise staying away from theircomplimentary miso soup and from their water damaged ceiling above. Read more
Small, quiet place about 5 tables. Good food. Staff are polite and kind. Prices are about average for a sushi restaurant. Wait... was a little long but I was there on a Friday night so it was busy. Read more
