The food tasted fantasic! The They are short staffed but our waitress Sarah was doing everything she could to make sure we had... a good experience. She was upfront when we arrived and she never atopped the entire time we were there. We had a mishappreviously so she made sure that it was fixed and even the manager came out to address us. In today's world where staffing isdefinitely an issue, this place did everything they could to make sure their customers were taken care of. Excellent job. Read more
Went before the dinner hour to avoid the crowd, dining room wasn?t busy. We got seated promptly with our 2 yr old. Had to go... find our own high chair and then watched as several couples who were seated 10-15 minutes after us had their orders taken anddrinks arrive. We ordered two of the festive chicken dinner meals last night. When we opened the bag there wasn't the 2 boxes of chocolates or... the cash vouchers that was suppose to come with it . It also came with 1 out of 2 Cranberry sauces . We called customer serviceand got attitude over it . We were told the chocolate was complimentary..so what does that mean? Using image incentive andcharging more that the standard option only to say it's basically their choice to give it out. If it's complimentary than anyonecan ask for them and not be charged extra or have to order anything. The customer service agent then said we would get one cashvoucher emailed to me which never came either...I should of just ordered the two basic chicken dinners I didn't realize it wasfree choice to give the extras that the customer pays for. Ordered via the app, and arrived for pickup 3 minutes prior to the time provided. Had to wait 20 minutes past the designated... time for our food to get out to the car. That's really unacceptable when you're doing the whole process to save time and effort.Food is good but something has to be done about the time commitment. Read more
Sad that I have to give them 1 star after my last visit honestly they don't even deserve that. We were there Oct 9, I had 5... family members with me Everything was good till we got our food. First plate the fries were cold my wife took a bit and said herchicken sandwich was cold to. By this time we had the wings and couple of quarter chicken dinners on the table each andeverything was cold. Chicken, fries, baked potato, chicken pot pie, even the frikin rice were cold. And when say cold I meanstraight from fridge on to the table cold. It was like they were purposely serving cold food to get us out of the restaurant. Ihave never been so disappointed in food service. There's been times before where you get one thing cold and they replace that Ican kind of understand that but if you guys are making fresh food There's no reason for a customer to get cold food. Went yesterday for lunch, with my mother and sister and my nephews (it was one of their bdays) and honestly from the very... beginning we felt so unwelcome! The server who was serving us did not seem to want to be there at all. She was so disinterestedin helping us with anything. Super flat expression and seemed depressed maybe? Now I know people have off days, so you knowwhatever. But I mean you can still be personable and not wanting to interact much. Then the food came out? now I remember Swisschalet fondly for many years as it?s been the go to for my family for decades. And I sadly now say, I will NOT be coming back?the money is nowhere near worth it anymore! I mean I got MAYBE the equivalent of like 1/4 of a small chicken breast worth ofchicken on my sandwich! And our Swiss chalet sauce container was only half full! Which okay, whatever we will still eat it weare hungry. So we dive in, only to discover all the food was somehow cold?! Like we just ordered and yet none of it seemed to beeven remotely warm? soup was! That was about it.. cold fries, cold chicken sandwich, none of it was what I?ve come to expectfrom Swiss chalet. We were ignored as we waited to be seated for 15 minutes. The restaurant was only half full. When we were seated we were never... approached for anything. When a waitress decided to take the order of a couple that came to the restaurant after us we decidedto just leave. That was another 15 minutes. A half hour of wasted time at Swiss chalet. The manager was grumpy. We could hearher and the waitresses apologizing to other people for the wait. So the way things were going the food wouldn?t be worth waitingfor. Do a good job. Be pleasant.
