The view from the patio is amazing. But the food pales by comparison. My friend who lives in the neighbourhood was stunned by... how their portion sizes fluctuate. One example: the calamari and shrimp appetizer ranges from a generous mound with multipleshrimps to THREE shrimps on the day I went there. The tuna mango salad looked blah and tasted the same. We keep coming back to a perfect spot by the perfect water that serves the perfect fare. It brings the feeling of being in the... right place at the right time. That time is on a hot, sunny summer day after the beach's cool refreshing water, you're hungry,thirsty and you need to still be outdoors and then complimented by the dance of experienced servers and a symphony of mealorchestrated by a Maestro- a simple offering but a really well done tasty delight... I had the Mussels in a creamy cheesesauce-a dab of white wine should be added to the sauce-complimented with lemon and Tabasco and Garlic Bread. Cheese Sticks withmarinara for the table. My son had the Steak sandwich-mushrooms and he was happy-fries are very good, my wife had a Tuna mangosalad that was OK. The food is simple and overall very good, a great bang for the buck and the servers are aces. All of thestaff pitches in, and it makes for a well run establishment.The view is absolutely splendid. This is the third year that the Viper Club of Ontario has gone to The Beach Lakefront Bar & Grill and we are never disappointed.... It is a beautiful location overlooking the lake and if you are there at dinner time you get to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Thefolks are great at organizing and serving a large group. They are very accommodating and do everything to ensure we are welllooked after. They even reorganized some chairs and tables to accommodate two extra people. Above and beyond! The food isexcellent. Our members ordered a variety of the menu items and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. Highly recommend thisrestaurant whether you are a large group or looking for a lovely evening out with friends. 5 Star! Read more
Had the hefty fish and chips with a refreshing rye and ginger, was amazing taking in the beautiful views of the water on the... patio. Many thanks to the wonderful wait staff for making us feel so welcome! I visited in the daylight hours - not sure howparking is during nighttime! I had a great time coming here. Great wings! Just wished they had their own wing sauce. I had their suicide wings, and it's the... suicide sauce you get at most restaurants. It's not a bad thing, just wouldve liked something with a little more heat anddifferent flavour. I give the wings an 8.4. They were nicely cooked, juicy and sauced well. Staff were great and friendly.Washrooms were very clean, as well. Hope to come back and try their other food. This review would be 4.7 out of 5, if googledallowed it. Read more
