Unbelievable service and food.. EVERY SINGLE TIME! Nikki, one of the managers, is cooler than a fan in the Arctic. I can?t... forget to mention the sandwich Ninja, Molly. She really knows how to make a killer pastrami sandwich!!! This is literally theONLY place in Dayton that knows how to make a real bagel! Stopped in by chance having never been before. We had a Farmers eggel, and Mac & Cheese, both were very good. Service was spot... on-efficient and friendly. And a bonus that there were several flavors of coffee. Read more
Good Breakfast place for dine in or carry out. Fresh baking of bagels add extra taste to your breakfast. Eggels are a good idea... of morning breakfast with toasted bagels of your choice. Quite good variety of bagels they have. Read more
The bad: the bagel dog (with cheese) was apparently completely inedible. My son said it was hard as a rock and the hot dog was... burnt and tough (and he said too wrinkly? whatever that means. It (and the nearly 8 dollars that I spent on it) went immediatelyinto the trash. The good: basic bagels. Probably always a safe bet. The fact that I had to throw away the most expensive thingthat I ordered (the lunch for one of my children) means I won?t be going back. Read more
Excellent bagels, poor execution, otherwise 5 stars. I came in an hour before close and could tell I wasn?t wanted. Boxes for... inventory were everywhere and mats rolled up. Kid was sweeping inches from my table to get out. I wanted a quick dine in. Iordered my bagels, one butter one cream cheese, and they didn?t bother to toast them. If that?s not a given (should be), atleast ask the guest? So I guess I?ll try to enjoy this room temperature bagel with caked, cold butter ????????. Maybe I?ll justbuy in bulk and toast on my own if it?s that much trouble. Great bagels for sure though. Read more
Would have loved to give this place a great review. It came very highly recommended by several people. I love a good salt bagel,... so I decided to try Barry's out. At 11:45 am on a Sunday, not only were they out of salt, but every other kind as well. Therewere 3 pumpkin, 2 pumpernickel, and a couple of grain ones. All the other bins were empty. Needless to say I left hungry andvery disappointed. When I asked about the salt, Asiago, and jalapeño, I was just told they were out. There was no mention ofany more being made. Read more
