Staff always friendly, knows I love my chips, salsa, and queso....oh and especially my margaritas ????

Order the combination dinner for $11.99 went to pay they overcharged me said if you order steak it was $5 extra was never told... while taking my order also never priced on the menu for this extra, literally had no beans, rice, lettuce nothing extra on sidejust plain small portions. Terrible service, worse food (very salty) then tried charging me 4% extra for credit card not tolduntil I checked out. Instead of knocking off the $5 extra overcharge I had them put it back on my credit card paid them cash andwill never go back. Fixture menu that price should have been on the menu and if it wasn't you should not have charged me extrashame on you. I will never go back I'll eat McDonald's before I go back to that place. We have came here for YEARS! We always pick up our order at the drive thru. Once in a while they make mistakes and we say... NOTHING because overall we love the food. We even have them do separate orders so that our food don't get mixed/messed up. Weshouldn't have to do this but we do to avoid issues of them mixing up our orders because it has happened in the past. Theirrates have went up quite a bit and service has gone downhill a bit but we still CHOOSE to order. Today, they messed up our orderand I called to let someone know. BIG MISTAKE! I spoke to the owner?s wife. Now you would think that at MINIMAL we would get anapology. NOPE. She offered a measly $5 credit. Which is an insult to people who CHOOSE to still order even tho the prices havewent up and despite the mistakes we have overlooked. I mentioned all of this to her and it was apparent that she could CARELESS. As I let her know, we will NEVER order again. Again, she could CARE LESS. With all the businesses struggling, you wouldthink I would have at LEAST gotten an apology and an offer to make it right. NOPE. Just got told I will make sure they get itright next time. WOW. What about this time, when we just dropped over $50??? The food is good but not good enough to acceptthis. THANK YOU owner?s wife! Just read some of the other reviews about how they do NOTHING to make a mistake right. Best ofluck to anyone who complains about a mistake that THEY made. THEY COULD CARE LESS!!! We also order from Fernando's. He ALWAYSapologizes when a mistake has been made and makes it RIGHT. Him and his wife are ALWAYS welcoming and THANK us for coming. It's a nice place but the seating area is a bit crowded. We had one person in a wheelchair and there was very little room. They... have long tables that seat many people rather than smaller tables so it's not too private. There are booths but we could not usethem. The food was very good and the portions were adequate. The service was average but we never got refills and no one checkedon us after the bill was dropped off. We wanted a box but no one came around. The staff could be a little friendlier too. Onefinal thing that I am seeing a lot. They added almost 5% to the bill for using a credit card. A bit unreasonable consideringprices have been raised as well. Read more

1st time here, in Kewanee, IL, had lunch specials $8.99 each, chimmichanga, burrito served with rice, refried beans & chips &... salsa. All food was good,took awhile to get, only issue was ice tea was not good, tasted like water,told server about it,he didnothing & still charged for it ugh... Read more

I visited this restaurant with my mom and grandma on Friday. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated in a prompt... manner. The chips and salsa were delicious. But my entree, the Burrito Colorado with pork, was even better! The food came outquick and was hot.
