Honestly, a really good restaurant. I had the steak. The ribeye. And I am picky about steaks. It was delicious. And served... perfectly with a clean full bodied red wine. The place is classy and rich with a tin ceiling and great staff. The bartender madean excellent Old Fashion for desert. She was amazing. Wouldn?t return to this place again. Was there on a Sunday evening about 6:00PM. Sat at the bar for about 1/2 hour waiting for... our friends to join us for 6:30 dinner. Bartender was inattentive and was more interested in chatting with friends who werepatrons than engaging with us. When seated at table, service was ridiculously slow, plus kitchen was out of chicken and walleye,so the already limited menu was further reduced. There were two dinner specials, but waitress never told us about them;overheard it from another table. It was over 45 minutes before we got our food, and the place had emptied out considerablyduring that time. We were more than halfway finished with our food before waitress checked if everything was ok. Had to ask forrefills on all drinks, including water, and vodka gimlet was horrible. Shrimp was over fried and tasted old, baked potato wasvery dry and over baked. Salad was very small. My bacon wrapped filet was good, but not worth the price. Overall, verydisappointing experience. First time, always looking for new places to check out. Very friendly staff, food was awesome. We had the Brie appetizer that... was huge. The Walu and Chicken Amandine were fantastic choices by the staff. Not to mention the old fashions are truly great andmade to perfection. (mulled) Then to top things off you have to try the homemade desserts. Certainly putting this one on ourlist. Read more

A surprising gem in the little city of Kewaunee! Was there for the first time for romantic date night birthday celebration... dinner and it was SO good! Great experience, great atmosphere, lighting, great service and great food! Everything was fresh andflavorful! And finished the evening with delicious turtle cheesecake for dessert! This has been the second time we've been there for dinner and it's been fantastic again! They do not disappoint! Old Fashioned... drinks are delicious! The entrees are delicious and the appearance is very fancy! I had the blackened salmon with rice pilaf andthe ham potato soup. My husband had the pork belly and smoked sausage with mashed potatoes. Went there October 22, 2022. My birthday dinner I always get meatloaf. Let me tell you it was delicious along with homemade mash... potato and sauté veggies. My party had the steak done perfectly. Shrimp po boy sandwich fabulous. Drinks so yummy and the waitstaff absolutely professional and friendly. Just let you know you will need reservations. This place gets packed.
