The food and atmosphere were spectacular. The terraza, complete with a vintage Fiat, Italian-colored string lights and soothing... steel drum live music was charming and cool-enough even on a balmy evening because of the circulating fans. We started with theBurratina pizza, which was the best I have ever had - the dough was chewy and fluffy and the presentation was so smart: theburrata was cut up and dispersed across the pizza (which is something many other restaurants have failed to do, instead servingthe burrata intact in the middle of the pizza and letting dinners struggle to cut a wiggling ball of burrata on top of slidinghot cheese and sauce). For entrées, we had the fettuccine with ragú bolognese and the tortellini with amatriciana (a special).Both pasta were perfectly cooked and the sauces were complex and silky. What would have been a perfect evening was dampened bythe arrival of a 14-person group at the collection of tables next to us. In no way do I blame the party themselves, but ratherthe entire service team of the restaurant failed to handle this properly. First, the hostess allowed the group to try to seatthemselves across by dragging tables around and robbing chairs. Secondly, their arrival seemed to completely overwhelm ourserver who appeared to have forgotten to put in our pizza order, since neighboring tables in another server?s section who satlater than us had theirs far sooner. The wait for food would have not been so bad, if we had been able to order a second roundof drinks. Thirdly, when the manager bumped into our table while backing up to take a photo for this large group and shot us a?All good?? over his shoulder, he apparently did not hear our response asking for another round. Update- went a second day at 12:30 and they only had 1 gf crust left for the day. So the demand for them must be higher on... different days. Original- The gluten-free pizza crust is SO incredible and fluffy, just like regular crust! Honestly the best Ihave ever had. They only have 5 crusts a day so call before if you want one to make sure they have them. We got there at 2pm andthey still had crusts available. We will be retuning a second time during our trip. Delicious food and great prices, the service was amazing as well, Amelia was more than attentive to our needs. The manager even... came over to see how everything was and to see if we were happy with our service and food, we definitely will be back to visitthem and to have a delicious affordable authentic Italian dinner! I had waited a year to be able to eat here! I followed the progress of the restaurant on IG and was delighted when they finally... opened but was sad that I would not be able to visit for a while. The wait was finally over when we made our annual trip to KeyLargo! I warned our family that I *would* be eating there EVERY day of our stay! It was everything I hoped it would be! Atmosphere is great! Pizza was good, but not crispy. Surprisingly very little garlic. Service was good, but it was the middle... of the afternoon so not many people there. We didn?t care for the deserts we chose. We we definitely be back. They have agreat selection of food and drinks. Read more
Italian Food Company was the best restaurant we?ve been to on our vacation in Key Largo. Our favorite part of our experience was... the very friendly staff. Great spot. We had the meat lovers pizza and it was amazing. The Bruschetta was delicious. Everything tasted great. Definitely... recommend this place. Our friends had the pasta and they said it tasted as awesome as it looked. Definitely coming back. Thetiramisu and chocolate temptation cake were great as well. Read more
We drove by this place for a month and finally decided to try it. WOW am I glad we did! The food was phenomenal! I had lasagna,... Chuck had a meat lovers pizza. Both were excellent! And the desserts?.OMG the tiramisu was out of this world and a cappuccino togo with it! Chuck had some kind of creme puff. Don?t miss this place if you?re in Key Largo! Read more
