Best local mead shop! The bartender was so friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. She shared info on each Mead, what all the fruits... were, and how they sourced it. I tried 10 different meads and that wasn't all of them. They even make spirits and sell honey andother items too. Purchased a bottle to bring home and will be ordering some for delivery. They do a fantastic job! Read more

Nice little place. Good service. Nice employees. Bottles of mead expensive. Didn't really like the mead there. No food on site... to eat while you do a tasting. Tasting prices not bad and you get a decent sized sample to taste. Probably won't go back becausedidn't like the product... But if you like mead it might be worth a trip. Read more

Tasting room was clean and staff was very knowledgeable of all the mead and spirits. They also make cocktails! They sell localhoney, beeswax candles, t-shirts and more! They also had a nice clean bathroom and ice cold water to enjoy during the tasting. Read more

The healthiest consumable alcohol! ahaaaha... Mead is the oldest form of consumable alcohol. Made from bees honey, this was the... "elixir" of the late Vikings. Enjoy a fun educational time having tastes of honey and mead. The hosts are some of the nicestever in the Florida Keys. Honey from spring summer or fall all taste different. Thanks to bees, we'd never get to have thisorganic beneficial product. Bees really do work hard, with a short lifespan and an enormous amount of hardwork! It takes tons ofthem just to make about an inch sized vial. Besides mead and honey, there's a small high quality selection of luxurious bathproducts like salt or sugar scrubs and soap. Find them in Key Largo. A perfect place after brunch, for a leisurely time andmeeting pleasant acquaintances. Read more

What we thought was going to be a quick tasting, turned out to be a full experience and a few hours. Come visit them in this... off the beaten path location, it's worth the UTurn. There are some many meads available and the staff is highly knowledgable. Owners were on site while we were there as well. Fun people enjoying tastings. They also have hand scrub sampling, and honeytasting. Our mead-tender was fabulous. Read more

We really enjoyed our visit to Keys Meadery and meeting the two Jeffs, Jeff the Honeyman and Jeff the Meadman. Together, these... two are steeped in the process of making Mead all the way from the bee to enjoying the sweet nectar they produce. They offersome unique flavors of mead and we love that they use local grown fruits to infuse them. It was very interesting hearing abouthow local weather patterns and hurricanes affect their honey and fruit harvest and therefore the flavor of the mead. We also hada great opportunity to experience first hand the difference aging makes in the flavor and finish of their mead. If you are inthe area make sure to stop by for a tasting or pick up a few bottles to enjoy on your visit to the Keys. You won't bedisappointed! Read more
