We really enjoyed having dinner here. Even if we came in pretty late, with not much time until closing time, we got a table and... we were served. We had some conch fritters, curry with snapper and a plate with a bit of everything. We also had bread withvinaigrette before the meal. The place is cozy and quiet; the waitress attended us very well, always attentive; but the food quality and price are not at the... same level; since the value of the dish is high with the quality that they bring to the table; My son's burger was burnt whichis why he only took one bite and he didn't eat it; the basmati rice was not of the day; and the whole fish did not feel fresh.the 2 drinks were quite acceptable at least they refreshed with the burning heat! Small plates on table were "spotty" like something splashed. Servers were not uniform in professionalism, some in nice pants,... some in jeans and t-shirts. Presentation of food was good. The mussels were tasty and spicy as advertised, but about 4 of themwere served in cracked shells, or not opened. This is a must-try in Key West. It was recommended by our hotel and we loved it. DOG FRIENDLY - they loved our dog and even... brought her water. On to the food + service: 1. Service was impeccable. Outstanding dinner at the Grand Cafe! NYE menu included several fantastic selections for each course. Each was prepared... perfectly and Jarrod took such great care of us.
