The Florida Keys oldest restaurant is located across the street from the Seaport in downtown Key West. Good food at good prices... and great service. Egg Benedict was delicious and the western omelette was great. Also open for lunch and dinner. True Keysatmosphere. Read more

Ah, Pepe's . Here since 1907. Few can say that, and still maintain good customer service and food quality. Pepe's has done... that. Had breakfast there. Get there early, as it is small and fills up fast. I had 2 eggs scrambled, with the bread of day,(cinnamon swirl) and Canadian bacon, with coffee. I enjoyed our conversation with our server, Sofia, who attends college in SanDiego and waits tables here as mom is military. She has such a bright outlook and sunny disposition. As for Pepe's, with thecustomer service and food quality it provides, it will be there long after I'm gone. Read more

This restaurant does not know the definition of egg Benedict, overcooked eggs. If they don?t know how to poach eggs they should... not be on the menu. Still got charged even though I did not eat them. The server did not come back til everyone was done withtheir food so I could not even tell her they were over cooked. I suggest if you want a good breakfast go across the street toCuban coffee queen, they do not disappoint. Read more

The service was terrible. I understand that some restaurants have a system where the bar attendant looks after the food orders... for the people around the bar however we were far from the bar and at a table, despite asking the waitress multiple times shewould not take our order. The bar attendant was understandably busy so it took a long time for our order to be taken. The fooditself was very average. The pancakes were flavourless, like cardboard. However, their special French toast was interesting andtasted good. Overall I would not recommend a visit. Read more

We were really excited to eat here as we did a lot of research and was told they had the best Key Lime Pie in the Keys, as well... as was the oldest restaurant in the area. We came in around 3pm. There were around three other parties there. It did not seembusy and we were seated within 5 minutes. When the waiter greeted us, she seemed very rushed and busy. We were understanding asshe said she was the only one working. This was a strange statement as we seen two other waiters running around. She got ourdrink order and returned about 10 minutes later. My mother in law order coffee and noticed that the mug had a lipstick mark onit. She didn?t drink the coffee as she was waiting on the waiter to return so she could let her know. About 12 minutes passedand we finally had to track down another waiter. They said ?Lipstick is hard to get off now, sorry about that?. She brought heranother cup. We then ordered our food. My fish tacos were really good. Everyone else seemed to enjoy the food. We then wantedto get dessert. We started asking questions to the waiter and she kept acting like she could not hear us, grabbed plates andwalked off. Finally, my father in law got her full attention and we ordered dessert. The Key Lime Pie was decent, butunfortunately, we found a blonde hair in the pie. We let the waiter know and the manager removed it from the bill. Overall, Iwould have given at least 3 stars as it was good food, but the cleanliness and service was extremely lacking. I would encourageto walk a little further into town and experience some of the other restaurants available. There are a lot of really cool placesthere! Read more
