Comfy beach bar with awesome food offerings. Stunning views, great music and an all around place that has awesome vibes. Just a... minute walk from the 90 mile Cuba Marker. I decided to take a quick trip to Key West today. As I was walking around after going to the Southernmost bouie, I stopped for a... drink on the corner and got to chatting with the server, she suggested Southernmost Cafe for a good lunch. It is right on thebeach, and I don't know what the smell was but it was pretty funky. Seaweed? It wasn't as bad on the patio but you could stilldefinitely smell it. The restaurant was all open, roosters and birds walking in, which is funny. There was a gentleman who hada water gun and was trying to keep them at bay. I ordered a pina colada which was tasty and have the deck hand. It was a freshcut of fish which I had blackened, was served with a unique coleslaw and a scoop of rice. It was good. This place was part of our resort and had great views of the beach. The dinner was great! I had scallops, mushrooms, and a... lobster mashed potatoes. Waitstaff was awesome and attentive. Breakfast the next two days was not it! I ordered the skilletbowl and the taste was off. The gravy was sweet and was really heavy. I wound up eating the eggs off the top. My friend hadpancakes and said they were OK. The next day I went back solo for just bacon, eggs, and toast and they gave me 7 pieces ofbacon. In all, the food was just ok for high prices. The staff was less attentive and seemed to spend more time in the back. Myfriends also had coffee at the attached Starbucks and mentioned that it wasn't good. Read more
Waterfront!!! I stopped in for a early morning coffee. Walked up to window for order, sadly when it was made I saw a Starbucks... label on it. Now sitting down waterfront and enjoying the coffee was awesome. Went back an hour later with my nieces forbreakfast. Staff was very pleasant, food delivery looked great. Taste was mediocre. One of my nieces couldn?t finish herpancakes due to quality of taste. Pricey for what is delivered. I would give them another chance, but ditch corporate coffeeand reevaluate food quality. Read more
Very overstressed staff. Very clear it was way to busy and it was more important to rush all customers, than to serve good... food. Very badly made bread for appetizer. It was sticky and the blue cheese on it was just disgusting. Took the kitchen 40minutes to make a Wrap which was not $30 worth. It looks okay, but doesnt taste at all. The waiter was stressed out, lookedeverywhere else, no eye contact and talked very fast. Its such a shame the customer service and experience is not important onsuch a memorial place! We had high expectations based on reviews and recommendations, but we were very disappointed. The food was average and... overpriced. There are several other places, similarly priced and lower priced that have much better food. The service wasmissing. We were seated, asked about food 5 mins later and never saw our server again. We had to ask a busser to get our serverfor our ticket. The view was great though, right on the beach at sundown. But either the kitchen or bathroom had a terriblesmell that made its way through the dining area. Read more
Southernmost Beach Cafe is an excellent place to catch a sunset view while you eat some fantastic fresh-caught fish with a... gentle sea breeze. I mean, come on. What more could you want in a Key West restaurant?! Read more
Super cool place with a great vibe. The seating area is nice and right by the southernmost tourist buoy. We came for the drinks... but they have decent food options as well. It's essentially a food truck with a large seating area and a full bar. Stop by fortheir key lime colada... but order it with rum, not vodka! Read more
