We came in on Tuesday night seeking some sushi and they sang quite the tune for us. While the crab rangoon was a special, it... should be a staple on the menu. It was too good, perfectly crisp and professionally assembled. The filling was creamy andabsolutely packed into the wrapper. For dinner, I opted for the pork belly ramen with tonkotsu broth, which came out hot and 10minutes after the appetizer. Really pleased with the cook of the egg, whose yolk was nearly translucent. It presented excellentflavor with no need for any additional seasoning. My wife loves sushi, so she selected the SoBe roll and the Shrimp Tempuraroll. The SoBe had excellent flavor, the tuna was fresh and the avocado was a beautiful creamy counterpoint to the truffle andeel sauce. The shrimp tempura was well received, offering a nice texture against the cucumber. One main point of emphasis wasthe cut of the sushi, sliced thinly which made it easier to eat and handle with chopsticks. On a side note, my wife was trappedin the bathroom stall for 20 seconds because the lock was a bit rusted. I can admit that some of claims of customers waiting tobe attended to by the wait staff is true, having seen a table of four wait 10 minutes to get water. Conversely, the staff werevery patient explaining the menu and food to the family (from Norway), which was a nice recovery. The hit or miss approach toservice is not equivalent to the quality of food, which cripples good businesses from receiving the reviews they deserve. 5stars, but it could've easily been a 4. Twilight zone but I would come back. I tried to come here once before (late lunch, 3-4pm) but it was a 20 minute wait, despite... there only being a handful of people in here. Same thing today?I was by myself (3pm) and willing to sit at the bar but she saidthere was a wait. I looked around and saw one table (w/3 people) and 2 individuals sitting at the bar. I later saw those twopeople behind the music equipment, preparing to play their set. I told her I could only wait the 5 minutes and if it was goingto be longer, let me know. 5-10 min later, I was seated but then waited another 5-10 minutes for the server who was standingbehind the counter (doing I don?t know what). The hostess came by and told me it would be a few more minutes for the server asshe shrugged her shoulders ??????? When the server came, I asked if the Summit Tower was a roll and she said, yes. It tookanother 15 minutes to get my food? no other food came out between the time I ordered and getting my food. Meanwhile I decided toorder a beer from the menu, which seemed to really throw off the hostess ( who I asked for the beer because I hadn?t seen myserver again). Then the server came back and said they didn?t have the beer I wanted?they only had 2 of the beers in their list???? When I got my food, I was surprised that it wasn?t the traditional roll (since I had asked). The only reason I gave thisplace 4 ?? is because it was delicious. It was very difficult to eat since the pieces were so big and it was too messy to hold.It fell apart as I tried to eat it???????? For me?it was just a weird experience. It felt more like a doctors office where youget one at a time service. Because I had tried to eat here before and got the same vibe, I presume this is the norm. Don?t getme wrong?I don?t like to be rushed when I eat but this was just weird. Good food but otherwise weird ? but hey, it?s key west, right? ???? Read more

the vegetarian ramen and the shrimp ramen were terrible. there was too much salt, and the ingredients tasted stale. the staff... weren?t as friendly as i was hoping they would be. we asked to sit facing the street and the host was hesitant to allow us to,although the restaurant was empty. we spent $50 on two bowls of ramen that tasted worse than store bought. here is a picturebelow. it may look good but it was not. Stopped in for lunch yesterday, the place was very nice and clean. Good selection of specials and menu items. We started with... the bang bang shrimp which were good but had a lot of crunchy rice mixed in. We then had the pyramid bomb and the voodoo roll. Both were delicious! Staff was friendly and inviting. Good music and nice atmosphere. Read more

Nice decor and service to the table was quick. Daily specials not listed in the menu are found on the board near the entry. ... There's a good selection of sushi options. Much of them are not authentic Japanese if that's what you're looking for. Lots ofgood options for appetizers and small plates. I had a spicy tuna roll and tonkatsu ramen. The sushi roll was a bit on thesmall side. It was okay for the most part. I thought it could use a little more wasabi. The ramen was nice in presentation. Bit too much ginger though. The pork belly was a bit dry. The noodles seem to have an odd texture and may have beenovercooked. The broth was nice. I spent about $30.00 for the meal. A good option for Japanese eats. Read more
