I live right beside Country Boys and we have tried it a few times, we have never dined in so I can?t speak on that experience. I... can say the catfish is amazing and I enjoyed the hash (?) & rice, my husband says it?s more like Brunswick stew which he doesn?tlike, my husband didn?t like the BBQ or the steak. This place is a definite hidden jewel in the Augusta area. A little out of the way place, but hands down, one of the best... places to eat for steak. I'm not a meat eater so I had 4 sides but they were delish. All of the dishes were homemade and usedfresh ingredients. The macaroni and cheese was plump and juicy. The sweet potato pie should be designated as a dessert itsthat good. I had a corn casserole that was out of this world. And the broccoli salad hit the tastebuds just right. Mycompanion had a rare 16oz steak that is well worth the wait. We had to wait 15 min for the steak but it was worth it. He alsohad a baked potato that had 3 different types of cheese. For baked potato experts, that's what's called the perfect bakedpotato. The prices are a little steep (the rare steak was $30) but it is well worth the prices. The food is amazing. The steak (9oz fillet) was seasoned to perfection and cooked to the perfect temperature. I had the... broccoli salad and mac and cheese. The chocolate pie made me hum.
