I’m debating between a 3 and 4 for a few reasons. First the quality of the fish is quite good. We had the sushi combo A and... all are fresh. However there are only 4 varieties for a total of 8 pieces. Not very impressed because we have been to otherplaces that offer more varieties for this price. The roll we had is just so so. Second, the rice is a bit hard and vinegar is abit too much. It doesn’t go well with the fish. Third, this place is NOT kids friendly. All the tables are high and we werenot offered high chair at first. My 3 year old fell off the regular chair and then the high chair was brought out. All in all,doesn’t worth the money. If you have to have sushi in Hawaii, maybe you can try here if you have no other choices. P.S. waitis long. So think twice. Read more
Fresh, delicious hole in the wall! Sushi chef we met was chatty and cool too. Tiny spot but great atmosphere and upset we only... ordered two rolls as we had our real lunch plans after this location! Must try sushi. We had the poke topped roll and it meltedin your mouth. Unlike anything I’ve ever had before! We ordered the TNT (drool worthy) and the 007 roll. Bring your moneybecause two rolls will not be enough. Worth every penny! Read more
Impressive presentation. We LOVED the creative names of the rolls here. But of course, the best was how everything tasted. ... Best rainbow rolls, Alaskan rolls, and their cooked rolls are amazing, too. There’s usually a bit of a wait for a largerparty, but it’s definitely worth the wait. We had great food and service at Miso Phat Sushi. I got the TNT roll, and my family got the 69 roll and the TNA roll. We all... loved our sushi. The service was above and beyond expectations. I went to get takeout a few nights later and tried the MisoPhat roll and they exceeded all expectations again. I can't wait to get back to Maui and get their sushi! Read more
This place was solid but nothing mind-blowing. I should add that I live in the Los Angeles area, so therefore I have access to... multiple fantastic sushi destirants. I was just expecting better based on the reviews. If getting great sushi isn't easy whereyou live, then definitely worth the trip. Read more
Miso Phat has really good sushi and the wait staff are kind and the owner is a sweetheart. They also have merchandise if you... love it so much and you want to remember the visits. They take care of their patrons whether you just came in for the first timeor you’re a regular and they know your order. My mom took me here for my farewell dinner before I move and I was upset because by the end of it, it’s my favorite restaurant... found too late! The quality, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. It’s just the right size for them to make you feellike actual guests. Ya know the kind of service where you feel so at ease you actually remember your servers name is Nico andnext time you’ll ask about his family because he took such good care of you. There’s the cutest waitress who has a “freshfish joke of the day”. Not to mention I love sushi and this was the best id ever had. It was the perfect send off and it’llbe the first stop when I return. If I could describe this place in 1 word, it would be FRESH! Coming from Southern CA, I didn't know what fresh sushi was until I... ate here! It was SO good and we cleaned our plates!
