I ate here on a Sunday night with a couple of friends and the restaurant was surprisingly pretty busy. Once we were seated and... ordered our drinks (I ordered the wine flight), the service was really slow for the rest of the dinner. The bruschetta and eggroll appetizers were pretty subpar and nothing incredible. I ordered the Chicken Picatta as an entree which also was just okay(the pasta was a little mushy and the sauce was very lemony). Overall, I think I would definitely come back to try Cooper Hawk?sdrinks at the bar, but their food menu/service needs a lot of work before I?d consider another sit down meal. Read more

Coopers Hawk is generally a safe bet for a great meal with great service. I don't know if it?s because this location is new and... they are working the bugs out, but this whole experience left a lot to be desired. We had reservations for 2 at 7 p.m., and theytried to seat us in the bar. We said no thanks, we would wait for a table in the dining room. (Upon leaving, we walked past thehostess who was trying to do the same thing to a party and they ALSO said no thanks!) Once in the dining room, our server wasnice enough but the service was slow. My husband?s pork chop came with no knife, and an absent server. The potatoes were icecold on both plates, and my filet medallions were lukewarm at best. I didn?t say anything since my husband?s meal was really theissue. They did rectify that by heating it back up, but even then, the potatoes were still not hot. We sat with our emptyplates in front of us for 10 minutes before our server came back. Once he did, he only cleared mine, and left my husband?s foranother 10 minutes! This was a birthday celebration for my husband but we didn?t even have time for dessert at this point, aswe had 9:15 reservations for a comedy club. When we got the check, my credit card was missing and the server eventually pulledit out of his shirt pocket. This was not the birthday dinner I wanted for my husband, to say the least. Read more

Amazing evening out for a birthday. The food was incredible and our server ...Arlene... I think was her name, was incredible.... She provided quality well timed service and great recommendations. My only dislike was how loud the music was in the diningroom. Read more

High end, but still casual welcoming restaurant serving pasta, land and sea dishes. Large selection of wines, along with some... beers and cocktails. Run extremely well, from the servers to the kitchen. Kudos to a restaurant in 2022 able to field enoughwork staff to handle a full restaurant on a Saturday night. This is a welcome high end restaurant to the area. A special thankyou to Katie for making our visit pleasant and fun. Read more

I?ve been to CH in Wheeling many times and I love it! I was very excited to check out this new location and I have to say it is... amazing. There are some new menu options which were delish! The atmosphere is amazing and I like that they have patio seating aswell. Some of the staff members are still in training but everyone is polite and goes above and beyond! I?m so happy that we getto enjoy this CH location closer to where we live! Read more

The property is gorgeous and the staff is polite and professional. However, it took 20 minutes just to get water (not an... exaggeration). The food was not brought out all together. My order was not right and no offer to take it off the bill. Ichose not to send it back only because the wait would have been too long. Read more

I have been to Cooper's Hawk in other cities a few times BUT, I've never experienced CH in the way that I did on Sat. Sept 10,... 2022. First when we walked in there was a young lady to greet us with a great big smile and a ball of energy. Once we gave herour reservation, we looked to the left and saw a man waving us over, George was his name. This was my first wine tasting andGeorge taught us a lot. I learned how to hold a wine glass, make bubbles and clean my palette and understand the differencebetween red and white wines. The reason I became a member is because of George. George made me want to experience drinking winemore. The flavors were good and the bottles looked really pretty. Also, Ian and Irma engaged with us at the wine bar as well. They offered their input about the wine tasting and shared some great information with us. So now we are led to our table byJayden who was talking to us about CH, asking if it was our first time while walking in front of us to our table, talk abouttalent, she was very engaging. Sat down and was greeted with an infectious energy, our server Memee. So Memee was the cherry ontop of our lovely night. She knew the menu, she gave us suggestions, engaged us with conversation while handling all she neededto do. I even watched her take care of her other customers at the tables and the same energy she had with us, she had with allher tables. The food Memee suggested was AMAZING!!! ALL THE FOOD WE HAD WAS SPECTACULAR!!! I cannot wait to go back to eat morefood!! We had the honor of meeting a few great team members in the kitchen, one that stands out in particular is Chef Danielle(is what I call her) she is an amazing woman and cook and I heard so many great things about her. It was also a privilege tohave Executive Chef Angela come to our table to meet us. Leo, who brought us our wine, was very friendly as well. One of thethings I loved is how you can see the kitchen from the dining room. What an awesome visual to look up a Read more
