Burger Bear strikes again!!! Hands down the most neatly wrapped big burger I've had for all that was on it the burger was put... together by a pro lol. Definitely in top 3 burgers I've had in OBX (Kill Devil Burger) based on price, presentation, promptness,this might be my go to lunch spot. Large fries was enough for me and my lady to share which 2 double burgers and fries at $25was great for the area and quick lunch. Will be back shortly to try the frozen custard. This place was fantastic! We ordered the Better Burger and the NC Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich and they were both delicious. The... burger patty tasted super fresh and the veggies were also crisp. The NC bbq tasted pretty legit and the slaw was a greataddition to the overall taste. The bun?s unbeatable? it tasted super buttery and had a really nice fluffy texture. Stopped here for a sweet treat and it did not disappoint! The line was a bit long but it moved very quickly and it did not take... long to get our food either. Not a lot of frozen custard flavors (3) but many different ways to prepare it. My husband and I gotthe cookie sundae, my daughter got the brownie sundae and my son got a shake. Thumbs up from us all. We love frozen custard but it's not always easy to find in the south so we were thrilled to find Kill Devil's Frozen Custard and... Beach Fries on a recent vacation. The frozen custard is delicious, generous servings, and reasonably priced. Anyone familiarwith Abbot's Frozen Custard in Rochester, New York will appreciate the quality of this frozen custard. It's really, REALLYgood...so smooth, creamy, and flavorful. The menu has a great selection of items from single flavor cups/cones to bananasplits, sundaes, shakes, and more. There is also a nice sandwich selection including burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken breastsandwich, and even a veggie burger. The beach fries are fresh not frozen and are yummy plain or loaded with cheese andchili. All the food we've tried there is awesome, and it's a great spot (outside dining or pickup only) to get a quick lunch orhave frozen treat during the day, after a long day at the beach, or for dessert after dinnner in the evening. The service wasgood and the outdoor dining areas and parking lot were very clean and well kept. The young man who took our order was veryefficient and very pleasant. It's a pretty popular place so don't be surprised if there's a crowd, but the service is providedquickly so don't let a crowd stop you from going. The frozen yogurt alone is well worth a wait. Oh...and the HUGE pinkAdirondack chair out front helps make it easy to spot and the kids love it! It's one of our favorite go-to's for frozen treatsor a quick burger when we're in the Outer Banks.
